High resolution (1024x1024 pixels) real Polished Paving Stones, Kerbs (or Curbs, if you are American) & Brick, replacing the quite frankly hideous 'vanilla' textures (512x512 pixels) found around house and shop front walkways in Neverwinter. The textures have been designed to vary in colour from location to location, house to house, to add much needed variety and realism to Neverwinter.
The textures are 'normal'/ 'bumpmapped' at both texture and tile level and are in .dds format.
1) once the 3 .Rar files have downloaded, navigate to your 'Override' folder found in : C:\Program Files\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override
(subtitute 'C' for your hard-drive letter).
2) Place the 3 RAR files in the 'Override' folder.
3) Unzip each RAR file (using WinRar or 7Zip) into your 'Override' folder. You can right-click the RAR file and select the 'Extract Here' option.
A folder called 'Placeables' should appear, (if it does not already exist,) to which will be added 10 new '.dds' files. Play NWN2.
BUGS: None known.
CREDITS: Original textures fromm a copyright free source, reworked, 'colour tinted' and normal-mapped by myself. Please ask before inclusion in any other game mods thanks.
COMMENTS: Any problems let me know. Votes and feedback appreciated. I have a lot more textures I've been working on, so let me know if you would like to see more posted up.

I like to say retexuring takes talent and time, but I only posses the latter.
You however, seem to have them both down pat!
Better than the vanilla textures for sure.

I'm using all of your submissions in my Override and they definitely change the look of NWN2 (especially on a high PC). Keep it up. Your submissions are another reason why NWN2 is so great.
Thanks again and I'll be watching for your future cool Mods! _________________________ "You take a look around and you see that the law is there only to protect power. You'll see plenty of law but what you won't see is any justice."

nice work man, you do the some great texture work keep it up:)
@ Marlboro Man
I've recently noticed that each patch updates a range of files- including graphics, so if u patched recently, that could be the reason! I'm also being careful as to take this into consideration with my mods- checking their latest versions first before altering anything!..PS got MotB today, so I may look at that soon, but I believe the graphics are a general step so who knows...

I must be seeing things then. :))))) Or seeing things I had not really noticed before. ;-) That's what I love about this game. :-)
@ Marlboro Man.... Ah I think I was a bit too cryptic there! I haven't posted what I've been working on yet... it involves adding textures to existing items/placeables, clothing, armour etc... I HAVE done the cloaks but I haven't posted them yet!
More to come...
working on a mod for the Street-Lamps as a side project... Got some nice amospheric misty effects glowing through down-angled pools of light, but I've hit a snag...
a) I don't know how to get them to cast light and shadows, ie., like the Torch....
b) I don't know how to script them to turn off in daylight and switch on at night...
I'm only now looking at the toolset, so bit if a noob, any advice gratefully welcomed! Thanks in advance...

I sure did notice the extra detail on the cloaks. Ya missed one though. The cloak Cormick gives you when you join the watch. ;-)
I like your work very much. It's like stepping into a new world again. And since you did not elaborate on exactly what all you modified, I am seeing stuff I had not noticed before, and wonder if that was something you changed or I just never noticed before. Thanks for making me take my time and just look around. ;-)

Sweet stuff. Just made it to Neverwinter again, and it looks great. ;-) Keep it up. ;-)
