This piece is along the same lines as my "Triumphant Return." It has a very heroic feel to it, with the kind of emotional/thoughtful section in the middle.
News Update: July 2008
The last portion of this piece (from about 2:49 on) is being used and has been arranged for the closer section of the Blanchester High School Marching Band show (Blanchester, Ohio) for the season of 2008.
I have been tossing around the idea of making a short video out of it using NWN1... But that all depends on when I get time, haha. _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima

Excellent work, we are very fortunate to have you in the community. The piece is very dynamic and interesting but in some ways it would be hard to use in the game without altering it, I think, because of the large contrasts within the piece that occur over relatively short times. I would love to see someone write a cutscene that would make use of the various feelings this piece invokes at the right times - that would be cool. _________________________ Ninja School -- a short NWN training and adventure module for young players. Well, I had much better software when writing Quest than I did my freeware I used to write Triumphant Return. _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima

Actually, I rather prefer it to your 'Return' piece. The tolling is particularly effective.
