Hey!It's me!

What I've done to make elven ears is select and copy just the ear area (so you don't wonkify anything surrounding it), paste it into a new layer and then use the Liquify filter to stretch the top into a point and nudge in the sides a bit if neccessary- it also helps to put a freeze mask over the bottom portion of the ear first so you don't mess that up. I use Photoshop CS- if you use PSP or another graphics program I'm sure there are equivalent steps....I just have no clue what they would be, sorry.;) I made my first submission to the Vault yesterday, so whenever they update you can check out my portrait of "Miurewen", my female elf, to see the results I got on her ear (I don't like them really long and pointy, but you can make them as pointy as you like using the method I outlined). Good luck!
Oh, and I like your green-haired lady- very nice!:)"I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul." (B.Watterson, Calvin & Hobbes)

Nice portrait. I can see the girl in the background. I think that the druid looks really neat, and I'm downloading it now. I have no idea how to do ears, though, I'm just a reviewer.

I haven't tried elven ears yet, but it is fairly simple to make small, pointed ears. Perhaps you can use a similar technique.

When I extract a face I'll "clip" the ear into a slightly pointed shape. Then I smooth it with a smudging tool until it looks smooth and properly pointy. You can see this in my portrait Mischief.

Another thing you can try is extracting elf ears from LOTR photos and modifying them to fit your portrait.

Now I'm all curious how some of the others do their elf ears.
