The veteran dwarf obviously used his intelligence to survive many years. He has gained in experience and those eyes have seen numeous adventures. But now they are a bit tired and he is now a wise dwarf, maybe a mentor or an elder of his race. But if danger aproaches he might again brush the cobwebs from his old weapon and stand against evil... once again.

I like the little gleam in his eye. He's really checking me out. Makes me think that I mght have spilled some of my lunch over my shirt or something.
If I may I'd like to offer a suggestion. I think over all there is too much contrast in the picture. Blue eyed people have a more paler overall tone to their face. I would thin out the beard a little to bring the rest of his face forward a little. He has fantastic texture, but it's getting a little lost behind the stark contrat of the white beard. If you leveled it out a little he'll settle down just fine.
Either way, nice work.

You need a lot of practice to decently manage food with such a long beard but in the essence it's just about opening your mouth further (I've got a bear myself but it's far from that long arounf my mouth). ;-)
Great picture. The hair is indeed nicely done. The only thing I would nitpick about is that the beard is perhaps a little too much. It looks as if he won't be able to eat anything without getting at least 20 hairs in his mouth. But I suppose that is common with dwarves.
Great picture! :)
Those eyes reminds me of a line from The Nutmeg of Consolation by Patrick O'Brian "How, physically speaking, do those eyes assume this much intenser blue?"Timmy C.
Everything is only because you think it is. For indeed, your brain can be interpreting your senses' signals wrong...in which case everything that you think is real, is only a product of your imagination. _________________________ Timmmeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Haha, I like that you aged an older picture from you.
You really succeeded into aging him I think, and great job with the hair and beard.
The eyes do not seem all that wise or old, instead they still bear youth, but that can be good and bad, depends what you want, I'd prefer this.
