Funny, I never thought a ranger in Faêrun would have styled hair. Does he make his hairgel of some sort of treesap, maybe? Heh.

Funny...I was not aware of any rule/law stating that a person was required to make their character models unrecognizable...perhaps there are those of us who appreciate a lack of modification to faces which need none.

Look at the collar. On his left (our right) it is level with the neck and blands into it. The collar goes round the neck, not in it. On the right the collar stands out properly but on the left it becomes part of the neck. An easy mistake to make (I've probably done it myself sometimes). I'm not saying change it. I'm just saying be aware of it and try not to make the same mistake again.

That's a bit harsh...I think this one is actually Karan's best yet. The face seems well blended, proportional, and fits the body well. The tatoos look fairly natural too.
The only bit of critisism I do agree with is that the face could stand to be modified a bit more. Generally speaking, you want to avoid easy recognition of a known actor/model/whatever.
All in all, a perfectly satisfactory portrait.

You almost didnt modify his face. This could be a lot better if you worked on it some more.
