This is my first attempt at creating a NWN portrait. I don't know what to say, I wanna hear what other people has to say about it. If the majority of the players like it, I will certainly make another one. Grabbed a pic off the internet(forget where). I put armor on her, replaced the background and so on... Elf Female
For a first time this is great! Look at some of the great free tutorials for portrait making on the web. Crobie's one is great if you have suitable image processing programs. _________________________ The HandCannon now fires unfinite bullets, Gotta Love it!

It's very well done and seems quite unbelivable that it's your first time. It's definetly on of the best Iv'e seen.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 23 that made this score of 6.60 then rounded to 7.

Nice layout, but too photographic. Prepare for the hard part- making it look like a painting.

Don't listen to the bads comments about your work, they can't see the time and the effort you did and most important, the beauty of this portrait. If they don't like it, tell them to do better than that. This is one of the best that I saw. Congratulation, if you have more like this, send them to me.

It looks like Ashley Judd NOT Cathrine Zeta-Jones...Any way
to deify Cathrine and form a cult to worship her?

The thing I like about this portrait is the details. The
details and embellishments are what give a portrait
character and keep it from looking like a boring glamour
shot. This is a fantasy game and the portraits should lokk
fantastic. Here you have the armor decoration, the castle
in the background, the snowy scenery. It makes you wonder
about this person. Seeing a sultry headshot in front of a
bland background, or a close-up of some mysterious figure
in a cloak where you can only make out his left eyeball is
getting annoying.

I've never used a photo in a portrait, but I'll bet you
could go a LONG ways with a little air-brushing around the
edges, especially around the hair/background border.
I think this portrait is pretty totally sweet. Kudos for
sure, chief.

I knew first hand before I even started on this portrait that
someone was gonna say she look like Ms. Zeta Jones. Fact is,
it isn't her I really don't know who it is I think she's a model
though.
I'll try to make it look less photo-like too, thanks.

Don't pay attention to the others dude, its definitely a
good first portrait, certainly better than my first
portrait. Oh, and to Lonewolf in reply to the comment
below the one below this: I know for a fact as a big
Catheryn Zeta Jones fan (even though I probably spelled her
name wrong) that that certainly isn't her. If she looked a
bit different shed look a lot like her though. - I'm not
sure, but I think you used the median filter on the face.
Check out one of Crosbies pics and click his website, he
has a great repaint tutorial with tips etc... God job,
looking forward to more. :)

Looks great!
Though the only thing I would suggest is to smuge it a bit
to make it look less like a photo.
Nice job!
