You are a young rogue, trained by your father and grandfather in the small town of Charwood. You have been sent to the city of New Aurora to join the local assassin and thieves guild (known as the Guild Of Assassins and Thieves the GOAT Guild). Your first task is to make contact with the guild located in The Salty Dog Inn. This module is designed for Lawful Evil Rogues Only!! This module is heavy on role-playing, not on hack-n-slash. Remember to stay in character ? try to meet your objectives through the use of stealth and thievery (pick pocket and pick lock are used extensively). No HakPak required for play.

I have to give this a ten. It was such a good module with wonderful scripting. This is truely a must play for anyone who wants to play a rouge module. Don't think another second, play this module.

- The only good thing about this module is the free equipment you can get.
- Poor design
- Bugged/broken scripts
- Poor faction settings
- No XP
- wrong alignment shift
I got through all the doors one way or another (only got the clues from the candies) and randomly got into the last room (all other doors were locked tight). There was no real choice at the end, it would have been easy to include a third option (e.g. escape).

Good mod so far for me but I did come into this little snag...
For the second guard door to get to the kings room you have to tell the little floating ball the password to get in and I cant find anything to tell me. I pickpocketed everyone and tryed killing both guards but to no avail. Can someone please tell me how to find it and I'll check to see if it is still possible for me to find it
Should be noted as "Min Level : 8, Max Level 10" judging by the readme, but will bump lower level characters at start.

I tend to agree with the comments of thudson below. The mod is way too easy for a level 10 rogue (a level 5 could probably do it) yet the objects in the drawers are almost all better than those my rogue L10 have.
Seen some interesting visuals but I do not really get the zero XP reward thing. Does it mean the module must no be played with real characters? If this is the case it might be used as an alternative to a plain vanilla level up module.
The atmosphere is quite unique as well as some visuals/scripts (e.g. junkies, burning house) but that's about it.
I won't vote since the module is almost 4 years old.

Very Boring in the beginning, but it get's better toward the end.

The 1st 2/3 of the module i thought kinda boring, running those simple errands for that "possible" halfling, was very boring, almost nothing happened, big deal, that rich guy try to double cross me, but then the mod gets better by the end.
I liked the fact that in this mod, you don't play a good hearted rogue, a saving the kingdom rogue, you in the end fight a villain, but you are also a villain, and you justify the name rogue with your actions that you can choose.
