After retrieving the Sacred Chalice from the depths of the Crystal Tower, it seems that whatever lies behind the recent activity in the region is operating out of Greydale. Along the road to Greydale lies an area that has recently been buzzing with activity. It seems as if a dangerous labyrinth, known as the Minotaur Maze, has been attracting a lot of interest lately. Rumor has it that within the Maze lies a powerful Artifact. Various groups have been trying to solve the Maze and claim the Artifact. Perhaps these groups might know something about the theft of the Sacred Chalice? What exactly lies at the end of the Maze? What do these groups want with it? The Minotaur Maze consists of a wide variety of riddles and puzzles for characters to solve in order to progress deeper into the maze. It will take more than a big axe or powerful spells to conquer this challenge. So bring your wits, put on your thinking cap, and dare to face the challanges that await you in The Minotaur Maze.

I enjoyed playing this module more than I thought. There are a lot of good ideas throughout the module (especially the different groups vying for the prize to come). Area design was nicely thought out and the general mood of the areas were done with strategically placed sounds and lighting.
My only gripe was the length and how it abruptly ends just when the plot is showing itself! What am I supposed to do with this artifact now?

Overall, I enjoyed it and would love to see it continue!

I like 3D. I like NWN. Oh and apparently I love acronyms.

A good module, well scripted, but i cannot get past the riddle in the last maze level. could somebody please tell me the answer?

Some good puzzle ideas. I especially enjoyed solving the riddles.

An excellent maze level. Lots of good use of riddles. A real sahme that this wasn't longer or that the next part was never made.

I like this serie a lot. I now have the artefact but if there is no part 3 so be it.

* Spoiler Warning *

I like both modules but perhaps the first one a little bit more. I did enjoy the reversed sequence (most modules would have a bit of RP first followed by numerous combats but in your first one it was just the way around).

In this one I only had problem that forced me to start over again. The review says:

"on the final level you run into a huge battle between two of the factions. How did they get in front of me? The battle itself was cool, but I think that it should have happened earlier on."

However in my case, there was the big room but it could be a CPU glitch/slowdown or whatever. I could not see the guys faction and did not even have time to read what they were saying. So I got closer (big mistake), in no time my party was attacked by the assassins AND the wizards. Within a very short time my character was standing alone and badly hurt. Tried to run while being followed by three assassins. Managed to drink a few potions. Killed one of the assassin but was taken out after some critical hit/sneak attack thing by the two others.

Also during the combat my character was moving slowly as if he was slowed or something but in fact he was not and should have been able to run at full speed.

BTW the rogue went down at level 1 after running into some drows AND spiders round the corner before the dwarf who is asking for a special map.

Anyway I really felt that there was something odd with/during that encounter and gave my character another chance (i.e. respawn). The trouble is that he had to walk all the way down (where he found two assassins AND three wizards standing) and back again with the items.

I answered all the riddles right the first time except the first and the last.
I found several of them quite funny in fact.

Last thing, you get into the temple and you get no reward not even a XP and I was expecting some ambush on the way to town but it did not happen so somebody could in fact leave the module right after taking the artefact.

Overall it was a good fun.

good mod its hard to find longer ones that include more than just hack and slash i like challenges that are just as hard to greenhorns as veterans it gives a sense of proportion. also the minotaurs maze thing is a classic and can be hard to make it work but i liked it

Better than first part !!YES ! I give it "9,4".
There is only ONE riddle that blocks me : "no contents..." :o
I find all the others, often on the first try ;) I already know some...
Some criticisms though :
1/ Why no portal at the end of the maze ? It is not funny to run through it to the exit.
2/ Fourth level really too easy ! Or did I encounter a bug with the levers and doors ?
3/ Most fights are tough ! Specially the last when the 2 parties are expected to kill each other while they all turn on me :( I have to reload it several times before crush them all. I play solo a Gnomish Monk 4/Wizard 9 (I gain 1 level of Monk in this mod).

Fun mod.
My only complaint was that much of the exp award for riddles was player driven (not Party driven).

Fun mod. Good riddles. Decent maps.

Overall a good time.
