Minor complaint: I tried getting the assassin to be thrown to jail(attacking the guard) and it worked, but assumed that I was the fisherman(him). Then I would be able to sneak out the keep(since I've already forwarded the phylactery) as a guard. Did not go as planed:(

Short, fun little module. Nice idea that provides a quick 15 minutes of fun.

I liked being on the other side for once! And not as the superevildude, being a cultist or some kind of evil servant is veryt original and needs to be taken into account for future projects! I liked the overall idea but it was a bit too linear. Another note of demerit is that you used the classic bioware campaign tileset for the outskirt.

Very original concept and story, even has some replayability value (there are three different endings). All in all a nice puzzle for 10-20 minutes of entertainment. Sure, it's short and linear but that doesn't mean bad in my book and it was never meant to be anything else. A job well done!

I have been busy with real life for a while, but I am planning a second module. It is going to focus around the cultists who were helping prepare Gariert's lich transformation ritual. I'm thinking about a puzzle filled dungeon where you control cultists in seperate areas. A little like The Lost Vikings / Day of the Tentacle... Where one characters actions allow further progression of another character you control.

One note tho no spoiler i think, i was playing as female but the cultist and gariert were reffering to me as male.

I just uploaded an updated version with some bug fixes, although there are some polish issues remaining, like the descriptions for all the NPCs.

Fun and original, I liked it. Not 10 because very short and linear, but your scripting skills are pretty good.

Bugs (SPOILERS BELOW)

1) Descriptions for many creatures were for drow and duergar.
2) In the end, when I was the assassin, had phylactery (you have a typo btw) and clicked on a trapdoor, I automatically died before dialogue options were presented.
3) Not a bug, just a few minor complaints - I didn't find a way to kill an assassin without suicide and signing a register shouldn't be such a big deal as it is treated.

Very good module. I like the idea of the mind control, a nicely different twist. Would be nice to see a second module continue the story ..... The assasination attempt, the adventurers, the cult ...... still alot more possible!

Incredibly linear, but then I like linear modules, so it didn't really bother me. I enjoyed both the story and the mind-control mechanism that held it all together. Nice work.
