Description
This module was initially intended to be a minigame in a larger module, anyway I decided to put it out as a single module. It can offer about 30-60 minutes of diversion. As it is a bit out of context, you don't have to understand the background completely. You are invited by your host Josephine into a maze and given a task: kill the illusion of her she had summoned and which is running along the whole maze, and find the six peppers that are hidden throughout the maze and are accessible only after solving various puzzles. Might sound weird, but I hope you'll find it entertaining...

Short fun puzzle. And the author keep looking in for two years (which is more than most do).

Very nice work here! Excellent scripting, inventive puzzles, interesting tricks, subtle humour - overall enjoyable. Put into a larger module, this could be a hell of a mini(maxi)game :)
There were some minor flaws, but I'm giving it a ten, because there is such a lack of entertaining single-player mods and because you're an author who really has the skills to do something big... Keep up the good work!
I updated the file! Just some minor changes and bug fixes actually...

oh well, i returned after a long time to see if there are any comments and... nothing! :'-(
well such is the lot of an unrecognized genius :) no, i just wanted to say, that i re-played the game after a year and a half maybe, and i really enjoyed it... you really should try it out, folks!!!! can you hear me???!!!
You're right, there was really a bug! If I only knew why... It was working fine with the version NWN 1.30, but I tried it out with HotU 1.59 and like you've said, Josephine didn't want to talk to me.
Anyway, I rewrote the script and now it should work fine (you are to start the conversation yourself now).
I hope you enjoyed the mod anyway, and sorry for the late reply, I haven't checked this forum for weeks...

I've played this module with v1.62 and encountered a possible bug in the end.
**********Spoilers**********
When my 1st level monk completes the task, Josephine appears and says, "We're going to meet in The Decent Inn, where I'm going to tell you your evaluation." But nothing happens in the inn. She just sits on the other side of the table and my PC can't do anything.

I'm glad that the number of downloads is slowly increasing, but why does nobody have any comments??? :) I'm curious about your opinion, whether they're bad or good...

Tahuti :)

Akkor mi ertelme a lenyegnek: a fejlodesnek?

Oh thanks for explanation. I'm bit of ashamed, I thought it was some kind of RPG term :). Well, I'm still sort of tenderfoot in internet & chat & etc.
I updated the old version, see 'readme' for details.
Download and enjoy (& vote! :)

IMO means "In My Opinion."
IMHO means "In My Humble Opinion."
IMNSHO means "In My Not So Humble Opinion."
There's lots more abbreviations, most of them going back to the earliest days of the internet. (I won't tell you how old I am but I bought my first PC in 1978.) Do a Google search for internet chat abbreviations to learn more.

Thanks for the comments, I found them very useful and I'll try to put some of the suggestions into the next update.
Well, the "as_introducing" file is a remnant from the initial version of the mod (and yes, it was a part of an opening scene) and I forgot to delete it...
I'm glad you enjoyed the mod, this was my first one and it's good to hear that the hours of scripting weren't useless :).
I have a question yet: What does actually the abbreviation IMO mean?

I played again from the beginning and the cauldron scene worked fine. It was a fun module and I'd recommend it. Keep up the good work!
Here are a few things that need to be looked at:

1. Move the chest by the maze entrance to the inn. I think most characters will want what's in there.
2. Mr. Shade keeps reporting danger, even when it's dead. His directions lead to the southwest corner. Have him go back home or give him something else to say.
3. One of the enhancers (south most one) took what I put in it and didn't return anything. I think that was a bug (tried it in the first game only).
4. Grandpa doesn't seem to know when he's no longer useful. Add another conditional line to his conversation for after he's done all he can do.
5. The alignment shift that's possible near the exit to the inn is too much IMO.
6. It's a personal preference, but I like to have a merchant available at the end of every module. I want to be able to clean up my character's inventory.
7. I opened the module in the toolset and noticed a conversation ("as_introducing") that didn't appear in the game. Was this part of an opening scene that you decided not to use?

Marco Polo,
I really don't know. You should put at least 6 peppers in the cauldron, and then you have to close it. Then the real Josephine should appear and begin a conversation with you. I hope it's not some kind of bug.
I've noticed that there are already 35 downloads. Has anybody had a similar problem? If yes, pls post it.

Lots of good things here, however, I killed the illusion, found all the peppers, put them in the cauldron and nothing happened. What did I miss?

Tahuti,
Posted by Tahuti ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-10-18 19:53:00
Hmm, me' mindenki lvl0 modulokat gyart, mar a csapbol is az folyik, 13-15 felett meg szinte semmi (pont ahol bee'rik a kariba fektetett "munka"). Amugy biztos jo...

I await your comments and votes, whether you liked the mod or not.
And if you encounter any bugs, please post it. Thanks!
