This mod has a very long and complicated history. At first we decided to make a full-scale NWN1 module but due to some major problems previous team was disbanded. Almost two years later project was revived and it development continued on NWN2 toolset.
Using the old content we made this small demo which will be included in the final release as a prologue.
Most of the team are Russian-speaking people so please mind that this module is a translation from Russian. If you notice any mistakes or untranslated text Ė be sure to report it.
The file consists of a module itself and a small hack-pack with a few custom models, textures and portraits. We used a couple of portraits from the Vault, but the images of the two plot-characters were created exclusively for this demo.
Anyway the refantasy team and I thank you for paying attention to our work. We know that itís only a mere trifle comprising to great modules ranked in TOP 15, but we worked very hard to create and translate it into English.
If you are interested in details and progress of creating the full version Ė please visit my website (http://www.refantasy.com/drow/project_eng.html).

Interesting (but short) story, nice NPCs but too difficult.
May be easier with a fighter, it was simply unplayable with a fresh sorcerer with no equipment (and not a single scroll in the entire module).
A lvl 1 sorcerer simply cannot sneak around. A rogue could try or a lucky fighter. Too many creatures to face at a time.
The module did not include a drow as subrace. Why not?
3-4: It is clear the author tried to make something interesting, but still fell short. With more work it might be worth the download.

I played this a long time ago and forgot to vote. I enjoyed the storyline, the interaction between the character and NPCs; disappointed that the full version is going NWN2 and not NWN1 (as I've said on other threads, I just cannot get myself into the NWN2). Loads of fun! _________________________ Well...who would have thought THAT would happen?
That's a hard question. We were starting this mod about 2-3 years after the release date of NWN1 (when both expansions already were released). And now I already have almost all of the story and dialogues, and we already imported most of the scripts from demo-module.
Yet there are certain problems with creating new locations and interiors due to lack of content. I think it will be about 1-1.5 year to finish and test it all if all of the team will have enough time and if it won't collapse... again :)
Alright. Found and checked it. :)
As I will do with the finished version. Do you have any rough ideas as to how long it will take until the project goes up (a couple years, I assume)? _________________________ One feels inclined to say that the idea that man should be "happy" is not included in the plan of "creation". - Sigmund Freud
I don't know about others, but I don't look at it that way. And you already have the comment in the description saying "please visit my website", so I don't think it would hurt to implement the link as well. _________________________ One feels inclined to say that the idea that man should be "happy" is not included in the plan of "creation". - Sigmund Freud
You're referring to a website in your description. I found the link relatively easy through searching through the author description - but I would suggest putting the link up directly on this page. _________________________ One feels inclined to say that the idea that man should be "happy" is not included in the plan of "creation". - Sigmund Freud

Very good, even if short, although i did sport a few minor areas which were still in Russian, namely a few item names and i recall it once briefly in the first conversation the PC has with NPCís.

I played the Russian version of this mod. Although. I havenít tried English-version yet. I know that this author wonít allow it to be worse than the original one ^_^
btw I haven't got any troubles with save files yet one of my team member got them. I'm not sure what caused that kind of problems. We'll try to fix it.
Most of the troubles with the mod were about the henchmans and they dialogues. Thanks to the Obsidian and their dialogue system we won't have them anymore in NWN2.
Thanks for your replies&votes!

A short adventure, with interesting characters and a good dialogues.
The drow are always interesting, as long as they are created and presented as something more than simple faceless creatures. Here they are much more than that, although there are only a few of them (including your character).
There are really many problems, but this is an unfinished project, and I will vote accordingly, that is... I will not take notice of some serious issues (such as the corrupt save files). Instead, I will vote for what I see as a fantastic concept, one that I really hope to see fully developed for NWN2... though Elereen will definitely look awful in the new serious (and incredibly boring) armor sets... hopefully a hak will deal with this.
Go on and finish the NWN2 version, please...!
