This RPG based module will take you from the safety of the city walls to the most dangerous frozen peaks of the north.With a story of betrayl, fear and sorrow. Can you be the one the bring peace back to a land laid bare?
There can be but one Hero. One saviour. One Hope.

*This module requires both HoU and SoU plus the most recent version of the CEP*

Designed for a medium to heavy armor class. But possible with cloth warers if you enjoy a challange.

Liner based but with respawning areas to allow for experience grinding if you require that extra level to beat a boss.

This module boasts custom scripts. Indepth story. Animated introduction. and much more.

Age 15+ advised.
Though if you are easily offended avoid speaking to the jester as his jokes may cause offence.

This is a box set of both the first kosh mod and the kosh addon. While every effort has been made to clear any bugs or scripting errors somemay still apear if the do please leave a comment below showing just what you were doing when the problem happened, but it is unlikely. Many thanks to all that helped my polish up the module to its current standard.

This zip file contains the module and readme file for installation plus a holding area to save your characters on completion of the module until the second in the series is ready to be released.

How do you get to the Swomp? I have the quest to find the papers, but the journal entry is bugged and I cannot find the swamp. I need to find it so I can grind some XP. Thanks.

ADDON ADDED: Its added around another three hours game play to the module, cleaned up scripting errors and generaly a full overhall of the first module, added areas. New scripts. added dialog, the continued story.

-.25 - spelling, grammar, and puncuation
-.25 - unclear journal entry (halfling quest) [item] & [plot giver] instead of document and gnome
-.25 respawning
-.25 walk back from swamp (would like the option to automatically take me back to the inn)
-.25 unclear ending... all my journal entries were gone after defeating the swamp witch - I presume this is where the story ends for now

Not for for the language, I put that it in purely to allow myself to contine the story in any way I chose without having to edit it for younger people. Also due to the books that I write being aimed for that age group the modules I make I presumed would be best played by someone in the same age group.

Hehe sorry then yes these must be bugs, the first one isnt one I know of.. has anyone else had this same problem? and sorry the he thing would have been me in the text putting he insted of [he/she].. I only tested on a male so I didnt notice, just ignore Perrin, hes a gnome, no one cares for what gnomes say.

Great little mod, just what I was looking for. The fights were a little tough on my new 1st lvl fighter, so I used one of my better equipped 1st lvl chars instead. She already had a 2+ longsword, halfplate armour, and assorted boots, cloak, and jewelry in the 1+ and 2+ range. The fights were still fairly tough, but I didn't have to reload as often.


Is this a bug?...I found a healing aid with a note saying that I should return it to the "." I thought that I had spoken to everyone, and "," isn't a name I'd come across. :D

A few spelling mistakes, which seem to be of the rushing kind rather than the, I don't know how to spell kind, that we all make.

All in all a decent mod with a good story. Oh yes, one more thing. Perin kept calling my girly girl pc a he. :P

Thanks for the feedback Lee74, I do, or should I say did fully intend on going back to solve the problems with typo's in the module, but sadly as I mentioned before I am currently in the process of getting my book published, and there just doesnt seem to be enough hours in the day, once this books out the way and my time is my own again I plan to remake this module on nwn2, so the bugs will be fixed for both the new and this version,

I hope this explains the project, It has not been dropped just delayed.

Well just finished the Mod and I got to say it was rather quite a bit shorter than I had thought. it took me 2 hours to finish. And the ending needs to be worked on becuase when I couldn't get to the last beacon in the ice it just says The End and Teleports me to a fixed place with nothing it it. So I just exported my character and shut down I think instruction for new players would be good and some kind of end scean to show what is happening. Also that there will be a second part...if there is one. Over all not a bad Mod several typo's but good music. I voted.

The upgraded version of this module for NWN2 will be post dated a while as I am currently working hard to get one of my novels from the world of Valadfar published and have been given only a matter of months to complete it. Sorry that you will have to wait a while to see how this story continues.

On a lighter note, Can people please remember to vote, this was my first solo peace of work and the lack of feedback is a litte downhearting. .. Maybe that wasnt such a light note :)

Anyway once I finish work on the novel I'll have another stab at carrying on with the Kingdom of Startholme series on NWN2.

After some thought the second in the series will be released on NWN2 system. I may also remake the first so it will play on the new system once its released.

There's a lot of typo's that should be fixed nearly everywhere, however an enjoyable mod nonetheless.

Thank you to those that have emailed me with feedback.
To address one concern that some people have found the area called The End (the grassy area where nothing happens) is the holding area once the second module is released you will not see this area as it teleports you straight into the second module. I put this area in purely so you can save your character for the second in the series so you would not have to start again once its released.

Please continue to give me feedback and remember to vote for the module. It means all my hard work wasnt for nothing to see a rating.

Thank you to all who have already downloaded this module. I worked on testing it myself and hopefuly have removed any bug's. But if you do happen to find anything ive missed or anything you think needs adding to not hessitate to tell me. Please remember to pop back and vote after you finish the module. In the mean time I will continue to wok of part two of the module as fast as possible.
