Setting  Takes place decades after a great wizard war. You must break a curse on the Witch Queen by defeating the wizard Funder before he starts another war. This game contains transformation magic including male to female sex change, were-rat, and chicken.

Queen Seela Preblaxiki XVIII perished at the end of the great wizard war in the year 1346 after a duel with Lord Gamraw the Barbarian King. Both perished to save the lives of many. In the aftermath the armies went their separate ways but many decades later the Queen still haunts the battlefield in a terrible curse and the wizard Funder is making plans to start the war anew.

Note: You'll have to start the game with a male character to win the main quest line. Otherwise for female characters this would be almost entirely an experience grinding module via several respawning zones.
For those having problems with installing this, you need the CEP installed and the CEP patches (patch 150 and/or 152).
If that's not working I will recompile without the patches and update this.

Oh yeah, here's some optional fun but it ruins being able to win the game.


The machine in the crypt maze is used by going to a corner in the temple of nature and looting a couple items there. Click the statue in that corner and it sets up a teleporter door. Use the door and port to the crypt maze transformation room. Now put one stone each that you looted before in the little recpticals - if you do it in the wrong order you'll know. After that, pull the lever and watch the show. (Must have a male character to do this by the way).

This also ruins your chances of ever winning the game because the transformation is one way only. The same with the sex change necklace in Giggle's Magic Shop - that's one way only and thrown in deliberatly to break the floor 3 door route.

The module has a lot of great detail. I can't imagine how many hours it took to create something of this size.

I thinkd that I've been just about everywhere (caves, crypt, hive, mine, wizard;s room's and bubba's area) but I can't seem to find Funder. A door to his quaters from the millers tavern won't open. Is there a special key that I need ?

By the way, I'll add in that I need to fix Bob's dialogue after you kill Draxxar, but once Gradge sends you on "vacation" to go kill Draxxar you never need to return to Bob's house. That quest line is done. The whole point of that quest line is to get Draxxar to the side of evil again so you can kill him and loot one of the cromexx power modules.

To add to the above about repopulating zones... I'm a long time EverQuest player so I wanted to model some of these zones/areas after EverQuest's respawning dungeons. In a few spots if you kill the same monsters again and again you'll eventually spawn a "named" which will drop some goodies. Don't try this everywhere though as I only set this up in a couple spots. The chess board in Brinewood forest is one place but the named there is extremely rare. The twirpling library off of floor two of the mansion is another spot - and there you might spawn a Twirpling Librarian (a.k.a. EverQuest style). Just clear the twirpling library over and over again and about the 3rd or 4th round you should see the Librarian. Not really a spoiler per say as much as a fun little game secret. :)

Once you have completed Bob's & Gradge's quest line up to the point of turning Draxxar back to evil, and sending him to the crypt maze, and then killing him, that is the end of Bob's quests and you no longer need to report to him or Gradge.

The Lich Lord as well as the entire crypt maze (except for a few exceptions) do re-spawn on various respawning timers. That is intentional so you can experience grind in there if you want to. Some other zones throughout the game also repopulate. Among them are Goblin Hills, Brinewood Forest, Playland, and Crypt Bog. Though not all areas will respawn like that. I just added this in for variety, and so you can get experience points and a continuous source of loot from these places.

I ded exit the crypt, and now for some reason, Bob keeps telling me to stay away from his house since Daakar is ticked off. I have already taken care of him, but still Bob tells me to stay away. Have I somehow broken the plot ?

BTW, I am able to get multiple kills from the Lich Lord, and each time I am able to get the same stuff from his corpse .....

Ah yes. The 4th level of the crypt maze. Well unfortunately Sir Helmly must have been reading over some of my older dev notes and since he's been locked up in a cell for so long I guess I forgot to let him know the Lich Lord didn't build the entertainment level after all. No I did not create a 4th level to the crypt maze. The entry to the 4th level was supposed to be in the lich treasure room but instead a portal just goes back up to the surface. If I release another version I will be sure to fix Helmly's dialogue or else add that 4th level.

I like the module so far. I do have a question though ..

I defeated Draxxar and have released Sir Helmly, and he mentioned a 4th level. I did kill the lich lord before hand, an I cannot seem to find the entrance to the 4th level. Am I missing something obvious ?

Removed the bandwith hogging .mod file (sorry about that), and replaced it with a ZIP compressed file instead, and a readme.txt file. I'll post a walkthrough text file hopefully soon.

Sounds good. I'll write up a detailed readme.txt file and compress it and update everything.

On the equipment. That's not all that important except maybe fear resist gear for the undead dungeon and if you're skilled in the use of a greatsword and a neutral aligned fighter you'll be able to use a mod specific dragon slaying sword, which makes things considerably easier.

There's plenty of free equipment setup in the Playland zone and a few godlike weapons laying around if you can find them, and you can have like three henchemen right from the start and they've got pretty decent resists and gear. So really the only thing I'd make absolutely sure on is fear resist.

So you suggest to start it with a 10 level fighter of neutral alignment, but how much equipped?
Also, how long the mod is supposed to be?

BTW I just noted that the mod is not compressed, and of course there is no readme. Compression is a minimum policy here in the vault (I'd suggest winrar) and a readme is good too because people donwloads mod but play them later and don't remember what the mod was about.

Thanks. It's actually designed for single player if you want to win.

However because some zones respawn (Goblin Hills, Playland, and Creeper Bog to name a few) you could get quite a bit of use out of this module in multi-player mode - at least for low level use.

Easiest route is get a neutral aligned level ten male fighter. Partly because that allows for a neutral only dragon slaying sword in this module.

Also, if you don't start the game with a male character then Mactery Bob won't even give you the main plotline quest.

I've changed the minimum level to 10, since that's the level where things start getting easy enough to handle in this mod. You could start at level 1 though and work up to 10 in Playland and Creeper Bog. Especially with the crab meat and troggy scale collection quests.

A description with starting level ANY doesn't do any good. Also min 1 max 6 players is a bit foggy. The game is intended for MP or SP? It's very difficult to have something worthwhile for both. MP mods are in a sense easier to build.

Sorry, I should have made that more clear. This requires both NWN expansions (HoTU and SoU) plus the CEP expansion (hackpack). See above instructions I've added.

Also, the beta testers noted that while you can start at level 1, it will be much easier starting from level 10 or higher in this module. Additionally a male character is required for winning the main quest & plotline.
