Description
Based on UOAbigail's Craft system, This is only a START mod, for ppl wanting to create their own Mod. Has all the Npc's around 60 areas, for the main city. To be added to this: the Placeables needed for craft system. Personally: After Craft system setup, be adding more cities. Added my Faction Merchant script, to use just add more mobs! and set merchants to use gk_factionMerchant as a script call.(basic setup, will tighten that up soon)

***Sept 26 2005*** 90 areas total, respawn system is NESS (needs a slight time adjustment) and then # of spawn in some spots is to much.

more of the craft system is setup/changed/moved. added an OX (key in Miners guild) 1gp/5min per ox.

i am no longer hosting this atm. (i will continue to work on it, slowly) heh i am now Hosting Ambrosia (by the uoacraft creator) his updated setup, and other systems just amazed me.

upto 90 ish areas now, with more of the craft system setup on its own etc. (in the next update it will be over 100 i hope)
if anyone is desperately waiting, (lol) i will update sooner, other wise, whenever.
(since i dont think anyone actually USES this anymore :( but me)

got alot of changes goin in. (mostly updates of the systems atm) some bugfixes (ie: transitions heh) placeing more things, and of course adding new stuff! (ox for carrying stuff) set in an oxpen (buy key) and (changeable) a 1 gp cost per 5 min of use. (nice addition i think)

New areas to come!

I am working on this again! redoing the spawn system (using NESS now, it works very nicely) it will affect the merchantscript i use, (it wont be as cool) but if the pc LEAVES the spawn behind him...it will affect.

also updated the death system (habd1.1) so far. after i get the spawner done in all the areas already made.... i will fix the Trainer system, guess i have an error there...

after that?..hm make sure all the areas are hooked..then start making more! :)

updated with the merchant faction (not totally setup, but see Molecks weapons for the example) if u dm it, there is a new DM tool under Tutorial, Faction Scorecard (or close) use that, and it gives the values...of the 11 factions i have setup. (4 of which will have a number not 0)

Merchant faction script is done, working good. its imported successfully into the GKUOA modfile. (i will release the script eventually, needs some docs to got with it first)

debating on finishing the Spell component change before uploading new version.... (its a tedius process) lol

guess i will wait..(noone seems all that interested anyhow ;(

after some clean up, i got it up and running...now i am adding it into the GKUOA system.... (all my custom mobs are under it now) no merchants converted yet tho...

oh and no npc's yet either.. :)

ok, i have JUST finished testing a merchant faction system...
that I scripted :)
(it took me awhile, i have no skill ehhe)
Thanks to GALAP i got it working tho!

(its stil in test mod, will extract sometime tommorrow)

what does it add? the merchants prices are based on the NUMBER of mobs in game, in each faction.

ie: Chaos has 10 mobs, Law has 20 mobs. Prices are x and y, cuz law is in control.

if pc goes out and kills the law faction mobs, making the total 9. the merchant prices change to x-10% and y-15% (not accurate, just examples)

there is a total of 11 factions...

Undead would be the worst. ;) they dont care about trade.

PRC is awesome...but it doesnt fit in this world type....

i am continueing in THIS mod style. (sigh)

heh, actually play tested it tongith with some buddies...and had a good time. (need more areas with mobs of course)

but overall a good time. (now to fix some missed things...)

ok, i am about to install PRC into this mod, if i like it, i will NOT update this module anymore. (if someone else does, plz post here, and we talk)

I will of course, post the new mod with prc. (assuming i stick with prc) hope someone can use this...

Oh, added more mobs, setup the treasure system (see treasure vault area) Undead faction loot, Undead(race), and Modwide. all random. also Chaos Faction, Chaos(race), and modwide on them as well.

ok, i finally got a few things working the way i want em too! whoohoo.

Characters are saved every 10minutes.
onenter u get the skillbook for crafting.

Undead now in graveyard, cr 2 is biggest in graveyard itself, 4 cr inside of the crypts...

Monsters drop Random loot (based on MY settings) see area Treasurevault, for catergories.

(ie: undead drop Graveyard dirt, blackpearl...etc)

Tonight, i will be working on this more. possible update tonight (small) or this weekend (medium). depending on how much i get done tonight. :)


I plan on adding CEP AND PRC to this. (my personal mod) but that will be a different release.

I DO plan on adding a dm check to it(this version) basicaly you must know the cdkey(public) of your dm's and add em to a script (very effective)

Rural tileset is nice for adding trees to. ;)

i wonder if all these trees do different things? hope so! some effort involved in setting up the various areas with various trees :)

i am adding animals to those areas, i fig the builder can add mobs as he/she wants. (just place them in toolset) NO encounters needed!

after several hours working on that forest... realized i used the wrong tileset for what i wanted ;) ah well. (i was clearing the trees the tileset uses...and placing the Custom ones that UOABi craft, uses. well, now its a Light woods to a medium wood area ;)

also, (after next update) use ONLY custom mobs in game. (they will be fully setup etc)

working on areas (added a mine and working on a forest area, that once finished i think i can easily use a few times for the 'generic' forest type of thing, just changing the main creatures and tree's )

updated the custom mobs all the way, now all mobs are gk_xxxxx and set to the proper factions.
(no upload yet) i will make a few areas and attach them first.

Wondering about an onrest script for random creatures (i use one in RoP) i can set one for each area, with creatures specific for that area... (as compared to onhb i suppose)

unfortunately, RL has put this project on Temp hold (at least a week til i can work on it again) sigh.

(just a major note, this is NOT a playable setup as of yet) just has some major scripts setup...

oh, forgot to add this to the list:

Creature Respawn System, (place mobs directly in area, from toolset) they respawn automatically. (random time frame I set of around 1200+ seconds.)

goin to try to list the things that are included.

(under scripts the first script is called ____readme or something, in it i have comments about the systems and settings i have used) ie:

CSS- Class control system(forget the abbrev meaning heh) right now, i have setup for only lvl 10 characters, and Druid, barbarian, and rogues are not able to lvl up. (have to determine where i want them, etc. as a druid shouldnt start in the city, nor barbarian.

UOCounselor- dm ish tool, for player help. Players can call dm or councilor (councilor is a player with extra powers)

Mage Component system- Alot of spells use Components, u can add/remove from list. (ie: timestop i added to use a specific item that i will setup to be a Ultra Rare drop)

SSTreasure- Treasure system for Random item drops. (powerful but simple)

UOAbigails- EXCELLENT craft system

i released this now, becuz someone else might not want the areas that i plan to add. (this is a good spot to start out from)

and hoping someone else will be able to help is always a plus...(i have been working on this alone for about a yr now)

kinda slow goin, as this is my secondary mod atm.
