Description
There has been a bitterly contested battle for succession in Mulhollorand. Once the fighting was over, the victor realized the Crown of United Mulhollorand was in the tomb of the previous Pharaoh. He had no choice but to hire an adventurer (you) to retreive the crown. Can you face the trials of the Pyramid to recover the Crown? A straightforward old-school dungeon crawl with no side-quests.

From the description, we were looking forward to playing this, but there was practically no challenge, and the maps were very empty. The ending was very nonconclusive and unrewarding.

Played with a lv10 paladin and a lv10 bard.

Could have been good, but the enormous, empty areas make it really boring.

No bugs that I could remember, the story looked good. However, it seemed like a lot of huge empty maps and there was little challenge. The end was anti-climactic, the module seemed like a really long "retrieve an item" side quest.

Nobody greeted you at the start of the module, but if you start the game and open your journal immediately, you will get one monster of an introductory journal entry. This journal entry gives the backstory and sets up the main quest.

I was looking forward to playing this module. I played with a 12th level monk and all creatures encountered were rated as effortless. Aside from that here is what I found.

1) Upon entering the game I was greeted by nobody. I figured if I visited the shops I might find out what I was supposed to be doing here. To no avail. Nobody told me what I was supposed to be doing.

2) After completing the quest and returning the crown. You are given a pretty low XP bonus. But given that everything was rated effortless I can accept that. (no dig here)

3) If you talk to Pesha Kesmhaya(???) he will continue to give you the XP bonus for completing the quest.

Overall it looked like you put a lot of work into the dungeon. More creatures and more difficult encounters would have been nice. Even though I was L12 Monk, I thought it would be much harder than it was.

Heh - definitely had a rough time of it at 1st level! Oh well, we like a challenge. I'm one of the drunken fools in Kharzak's party playing a Druid who's strongest attribute is running away! ;)

Shive on!

Smiles knowingly. I can't wait for you to meet Queen Sekhmeti and Pharaoh Atumhotep....

We actually had a really good time even though we got beat up alot :)

We'll try it again soon and let you know how it goes. I don't know how all 5 of us missed the level requirements. Vast quantities of ale were consumed though, perhaps that would explain it.

Love the setting btw. I've always wanted to play around there. I threw some magic items in from there in my Thayvian mod, though I think I spelled the name wrong.

Ummm.... If you played this with first level characters I can understand why you got killed on the first hit. I put it in the ReadMe file, I put it on the module description page, I put it on the website....THIS MODULE IS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED BY CHARACTERS OF LEVELS NINE TO ELEVEN.

I am sorry you didn't have a good time in my module, though.

We had a rough time with this in 4 player multi. The monsters were killing us in one shot most of the time. A bit on the hard side for a group of level 1's. :)
