This is the second episode of the Scale of the Beast series of modules. Having gained insite into the power of Dragon Dreams you now begin to investigate the strange events of the little valley. Is Tdemba really a bad farmer or is his hand, Coron, behind the troubles of the area? Herein you learn about the Bandit Hills adjacent to Tdemba's farm. Who lives in the caves and what are their plans? In this adventure you find more questions than answers ... but, isn't that the fun of it?

Thank you for the kind words Sleeping Dog. I've actually
kind of abandoned this story line for the moment for a new
series. This was kind of a warm-up for me.
If anyone is reading this ... look for Sea King's Quest
(Cantil) coming to a module database near you soon!
It is significantly bigger than either of the Scale of the
Beast episodes and tighter in dialog as well. Hopefully
I've learned a few things.

yep - L2 sorcerer does the job.

I played this with a L1 Sorcerer and completed the mod
though there was an area that was left unexplored - it was
too tough. Will try with L2 later.
There is realistic "treasure" on the dead bodies but
nowhere to sell it. Perhaps small cheap gems (for later
module) would be preferable. No bugs. As in the prelude
strong storyline. Nice use of persuade skill. Sometimes
you need to re-start conversations if you don't loop back
to the start of a dialogue. Took 60 t0 80 mins but I did
miss an area out.

Yes, there is a Scale of the Beast: Prelude. It is a short
adventure that can be completed in an hour or two at the
most. It is pretty much just a setup deal.
So, I apologize for the confusion! This one is:
Scale of the Beast: Episode 1. The Second Module in a
series starting with; Scale of the Beast: Prelude.
P.S. Any comments are more than welcome!

because there was a prelude... but i think he may have
wanted to use the word 'module #2' instead

Umm.... just a question. If it's the second episode, then
why is it called Scale of the Beast: Episode 1?
