A single player quest best suited to players between level 18 and 20. A roleplay adventure leading to three different dungeons with an entire town to explore. Please visit the website for details. The module is designed for high end players and as such to make it a challenge some of the exp earned from boss encounters is greater then in the official modules. I have uploaded the module manual in the read me. Its a PDF and comes in at 1.9mb but I hope its worth downloading too as it provides a bit of background and a full DM guide if you want to try Noratal with a party rather than single player

Most of the comments left recently echo my sentiments on this module. While it suffers from many of the typical 'my first module' errors, there were some very nice touches. I liked the fact that there were plenty of vendors available. I also appreciated the fact that most of the NPC's were named, for example. One thing I liked less was that many of them seemed to be carbon copies of the other ones (same voice set, same character build) with the exception of the name.
One thing anyone thinking about playing this module should be aware of is that the minimum character level of 18 noted on the banner is exaggerated. With the exception of the bosses, which generally were well-suited to lvl18/19 characters, most of the encounters were more suitable to levels 7-10 (depending on play style, whether you use ILR, difficulty settings, etc.). I found xp outlay to be appropriate to 18th/19th level, but not appropriate to the encounters (an orc champion, CR 4, giving 250 xp???). Treasure rewards were generally way over the top ; there were tons of expensive magic items lying around in boxes and crates, as well as expensive gemstones.
There were also a few conversation bugs, one most notably Rion's quest, which was offered to me, but can't be accepted because the conversation breaks at that point.
I hope the module author decides to write more modules. It seems like the author has a detail-oriented approach, which I think is often lacking in many modules, but simply lacks experience. I look forward to seeing more submissions from him/her!

i liked playing this mod it was not all too challenging for my Lv.19 sorceror/arcane archer but still it was fun and i especially liked the garden idea with all of its fountains lol
I just finished the module and had no script problem this time.
Sure the module is not perfect (the bird cannot be found for example) but considering the vintage it was a good fun not too challenging.
Players should stay away from the portals because they do not work.
Otherwise it is an average module one of the few high level (pre-epic) module out there.

Oh, one last thing: THANKS!!! for the Ravager +4! My long-term favorite weapon of which I had become quite fond of was a Ravager +1, which at level 16 at last became a little weak. Thanks to you I can now use its powerful successor and keep my personal fighting style! :D

Just finished it. Nice mediocre module, but still many glitches and inconsistencies. Like the attacking orcs at the cave entrance - with the beach head of the rangers located just behind them INSIDE the cave. Where did the orcs come from / how did they get past the rangers?
Other things you should avoid in the future:
- nearly every conversation can be repeated. The npcs don't remember that you spoke with them already.
- too large areas with too few really important things to justify them. The town i.e. could have been only one third as big.
- too many loot coincided with too weak items. A 16-20th level character should'nt have much use for +2/+3 items.
I hope this doesn't sound too negative. I enjoyed your module. You have (I should say "had", because of the age of the module) much potential, if you avoid some things in the future.
Keep on the good work! :D

(forgot to mention before, sorry)
Found Lord Lika on my way to the merchant. He was standing not very far from the gate to his manor in the main city, although he told me to meet him in his manor... After we had some words, he vanished (!) (better should've walked) and now he was where his servant said. It's understandable that the servant doesn't now when his master's at home or not if he keeps *teleporting* in and out. ;)
Now I could play on but don't know if I want to... :/

Oh, and just to mention it: I played with an Monk-5/Sorc-7/Drag-4 = level 16 character with IMHO normal (legal) outfit and had no problem fighting through the barracks. So the suggested level 18-20 most likely is too high.

I got stuck very early in the module. I freed Lord Lika and went to his manor. His butler (Clando) tells me the Lord is "expecting you upstairs", but upstairs is no one.
Sadly, I will give up the module, since I don't want to backtrack to an old save and retry the "transition" of the Lord to his manor, and because of the many bug reports in the comments...
As mentioned in the previous post this module is probably broken.
Did everything up to the point where your only choice seems to be to jump in a portal but either the game crash or you are stuck there.
The module was OK so far.

Too many bugs to play :( I give a "6" because of that.
I am blocked by Glendur who refuses to speak with me, while I erase the Drow threat in the cave.
I can't also do the secondary quests : no raven, no little friend...
Impossible to play, so fun really diminished :(
