Description
This is a CEP compatible hakpak I made based on the artwork 'Kara' by Nasuradin (http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/other/data/1097192995000.shtml). The hakpak contains the robe (all 24 versions), a set of armored angel wings, a female human head and a helmet based on the head. Please leave a comment if you come across any problems and I shall try to resolve them. Happy hacking

I'm trying to make a subrace that adds these wings to the PC once they reach a certain level but I can't seem to find the constant for it (APPEARANCE_TYPE_ATTACHMENT_WINGS_***). I opened the wingmodel.2da file and tried to use c_wingsarman for it but had no luck. I was hoping perhaps you could tell me what I'm looking for or at least tell me how to find it myself. Thanks and great work!

In particular, the wings look very good. Much better than the normal angel wings. :D

Please can you get the wings armor color to conform at all to the metal color of armor... or maybe (sorry for such a big request) make some variations with other wing armor color... like say the shiny black metal?

As previously said clipping is a big issue. It's quite simple to do however, as long as you don't mind clipping :D, you have to create a new visual effect model, add a new entry in the visualeffect 2DA, you have several columns where you can specify what model should be attached to a specific node. Enter your helmet vfx model name in the column coresponding to the head node. You'll also have to put a 1 in the last column so that the vfx follows the node movements. Then just apply the effect to the creature you want to wear the helm.

Why would you want wings to be part of the armor, as wings are attached to the persons body. As for the idea of doing a helm without coif attaching to the head impact node, sounds great. Unfortunately, given all the different hair styles on the head models there would be major clipping problems. It's a shame bioware didn't do the same as bethesda, ie face as one node and then scalp & ears as another.

I'd be happy do give you a helm model, but I've no idea on the scripting you would need to do as LetoII suggested, best ask him.

Wings are related to creature appearance, not custom armor. To create an open faced helmet you could create it as a visual effect apllyed on the head impact node.

a ok i have bin using thes wings for a wile now bin looking closely and i have noticed that if you look from behind the npc or pc as they walk their is a slight texture error in the right wing close to the section that goes into the back is like just i line of nexture that gaps just i small crack that turns flesh color but you will only see it if the character is walking and the wings flap as they walk

i have a question do you ever have the prob in the rob animation were the chest part jumps out front when attacking but the rest of the body stays normal

i have tryed to fix this prob but just cant i checked my overides and nothing in their is doing it i even took my overides out and still does it

sorry about all the posts but thought you might like to know i am using the wings in a test mod with hard combat and the wings are hold good parts are staying well looks like you got it but good !

There, all done.
Turns out it was the anim, as I was trying to keep the model size down by super modelling the wings.
Now the wings mdl includes its own anims and they work fine.

thanks by th way this is great stuff realy nice the armored wings are somthing that realy sets thw wings off i think i mean i winged character

think of it normal wings would make more of a target
the armor looks right if you ask me makes the wings i made a npc using thes wings and they look great i have noticed one thing after a trans point the wing part will go back into place untill the npc or pc moves if you stand still after a trans the part will stay their almost looks like is part of the animation thats causing it

No it's not supposed to do that.
I'm looking into it although it seems to only be doing it on the left wing which is very strange.

the wings are nice but with one prob
is fine on start but the moment the npc movies
one of the middle armor parts on one of the wings drops down out of place and is hafe in the wing
