I've installed the 4 normal files in the override directory (all but that which came in its own directory and turned on archery mode) but they don't seem to work. Is this compatible with the CEP or the PRC?

Hmm, I dont' know if it's just me but suddenly the Ranger doesn't get Favored Enemy when I install this.

Hmm... Ignore my doubt. Apparently, I should have properly read the readme file, as it says there the feat is given at level 2. Nevermind.

One question. I put the files in my override folder (I have about four of them, created upon installing the official expansions, named something like Override_bak1 and 2). I put the files in the one that said override only, using the archer file because I wanted my character to be an archer. I opened NWN, tried to create a new character, but not only had the dual-weild feat disappeared (as it probably should) but I didn't have the Point Blank Shot and Rapid Shot feats as I though I should have. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

That should make my mod work with 1.61.

About the two classes idea: I think that would be possible, but would probably require TLK file editing, which I don't really want to mess with. If anyone wants to take a shot at it with my data, go right ahead.

I tried this override before HotU and it worked great! I was wondering if there is any plan to make sure this over ride is 6.1 friendly?

Could the files be modified to allow both types of rangers as different classes (i.e. Dual Ranger and Archery Ranger)? If so how?

The Animal Companion bug should be fixed. I had originally used a 1.28 2DA to do this mod, but I had switched to SoU 1.30 partway through, so it wouldn't break the new classes. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that 1.30 added a new column to the cls_feat_*** 2DAs. The new version adds the extra line to the 2DA, which determines what shows up on the radial menu. Thanks to Wouter van Dam for pointing this out to me.

hey Grey Wolf i'm having the same problem that kevin was having i cannot summon my animal companion. when you go to the radial menu where it usually shows the ranger special abilities it has nothing and i have nowhere to select the animal companion.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea why that is happening. It seemed to me that it was all hard-coded, with the entry in the 2DA just to make it show up in the Feat list. Now, I'm not so sure.....

Yes it did, everytime I leveled up I could improve my animal companion. I just couldn't summon it from the radial menu.

I heard the Rogue gets Hide in Plain sight. I don't have the 3.5e handbooks so I don't know. Are there any 3.5e changes to prestige classes?

Kevin, did the menu to select your Animal Companion come up properly?

And to Bhaeru, Ice Titan, Balgin, etc.: If the primary changes are skill points and the like, I can adjust those fairly easily. The paladin having lay on hands switch to second level isn't anything difficult either. I'll try to get around to making those changes and adding them to the Zip by tonight.

Note to Ice Titan: The 3.5 Paladins don't get lay on hand until 2nd level. The druids can now spontaneously cast SUmmoning spells (as in summon animal 1, summon animal 2 etc) just like clerics can spontaneously heal or harm. I'd call all those in that list pretty major changes personaly. That doesn't mean that I like them, just that they're pretty big.

Some of the changes from 3.0 to 3.5 includes the bard's skill points (6 instead of 4) and the barbarian gets damage reduction at different levels.

I'm at 9th level and have the feat but I just can't get the icon to summon it to appear on the radial menu, or set a quickslot.

Most of the class Changes from 3.0 to 3.5 are amount of skill points, spell choices. Only one that was drasticly altered was ranger, and the Paladin did get some twinking by adding more Smite Evil per day (1 extra smite per 5 levels).

But only ranger had the drastic change.

Hmm... It shouldn't do that. What level does the feat appear at? If it appears at 4th level, then I forgot to switch it back to 6th. It appears to be hard-coded into the engine, doesn't matter what level you get the feat at.

Actually, I just looked through the other classes, and there doesn't seem to be really much of a difference between the 3.0 and the 3.5 Editions for them.

Very nice. The ranger deserved a power up and definetly got it in 3.5. It's a shame BioWare aren't inclined to start using it. Maybe for NWN 2 then...
