I already got the scripts and a lot of the animations for it but it needs some work still... Didnt want to wait with the Horses till that... ;) Have fun

Sooooo close! And in relation to the rendering id say that you really are nearly there i reckon if you use the experience you got from making that hak, and restart from scratch making it all clean and perfect then NWN could one day have a decent horse riding pak. Try experimenting with grafting just the torso to the horse btw when you make them ridable and have a small selection of legs already stuck on to the hourse (removed whilst dismounted) This will allow battle animations (which is the hardest hurdle)

Your animation style is better then the smoother style of the other haks, if you remodel it really pick out the muscles youve got the skills.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 7 that made this score of 8.00.

Criticism is good it teaches us how to improve. However a note to those who just say "this sucks" You try it! I am a part time 3D modeller and it aint an easy thing believe me I KNOW. Also take into accord that they were animated modelled and textured by one person now that is very well done! The pro's rarely do all at once usually there are modellers, animators and texture artists not one doing it all so have respect for someone who makes the effort. Fair enough there may or may not be better attempts out there but remember this "There is always someone better"

Try increasing the poly count... It looks kinda ruff.

Thanks very much incognito for your support. I think i am not good enough to make it better then i did hehe... And i kinda lost the interest in making more stuff because of the former nasty remarks... I think i cant take comments meant to hurt that well... But hey if you can smooth my horses you get all my support. From now i leave the modelling for those who dont give a *blink blink* if they are given nasty remarks... (I know... i know... i dont have a backbone :P )THANKS!!!

I applaud you for making your own models instead of just altering ones made by others. On the darker horses from a distance they look fine, but when you get closer you see that their necks are far too thick and their tails stiff and their eyes and nostrils are pretty much just dots. I think with some smoothing out of the models and some better textures and more movement in the tail, these could be fantastic. Great start.

Overall I think it's a good pack. The blocky issue isn't
really THAT much of a problem, as most of the other
animals created for nwn look some what blocky.
And the nightmare horse is just great :D

Keep up the good work Nethy

Sorry if this is overly critical, but they don't really
look much like horses. As others have said they're too
blocky and too many oddly shaped polygons... and the
proportions are all wrong. They look more like antelope...
or maybe brontosaurus for that matter. I haven't checked
out the animation, so I can't comment on that, but you
should really consider some major revisions based on horse

If you are talking about Nitocris and Finniksa, those 70
horses were all reskins and rescales of the DLA horse.

As such - they all shared the same problems of the DLA
horse - the run is terrible.

The module will feature new animations for our horse
models, with adjusted geometry as well.

Ugh, they are ugly. Sorry.

It's a little blocky, maybe you should make it a little
more smooth
