Alright, seriously I seen in a modual or two these things
at work, I love them. However as with most hak pak's they
don't appear on my screen when I go to add them. IS their
a reason for this and a fix?

There are NOT any death animations on these...
Is this going to ever get fixed?

Cool... Good work!

........Re-Bryan's question. I'll ask the same- "do they
now have death animations?"

I am getting the same thing. The reference ist there in
the toolset, but the model doens't appear on the map.
Problem with appearance.2da?

Hmm, for some reason I couldn't get this hak to work.
I D/L and unzipped it into my hak directory. I created a
test modual, imported the .erf and enabled the hakpak.
The creatures were listed in the toolset, but once I opened
up a creature to "edit" there was no image in the left hand
panel. All the stats were there, but no image.
When I clicked on the creature to place it in the modual,
the mouse pointer changed, but nothing actually happened.
No object appeared, and no creature was listed under the
modual area listing.
I do have a copy of an original giant scorpion from another
hakpak that I've used before, and it works fine.
Any suggestions?

Wolfsong, that would be true. Unless the "flies" were
glowing like a neon light with elementals following their
will.
Talk about worthy prey ;)

Quickie question. I remember when poly first uploaded the
scorpian, and beholder models for informal beta testing on
the Bioware forums. At that time the scorpion did not have
any death animations, is that still true? Just curious.

My god.... I err... think I have to change my shorts now.
Great job now to find a place to put the reallly really
really big scorpion.

Lol, I still remember the terror when I had my party fight
a colossal monsterus scorpoin last time int P&P...
Posted by Wolfsong ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 13:13:00
On second thought you don't need to worry about the colossal
one. It won't go after anything smaller then an elephant.
For him to hunt humans, is like you hunting flies.

Wow, that looks real nice.
I love the big one, we need more colossal creatures.
Do a stone colossus next time ;)

Ah, okay, cool. Nice job.

NoMan - Quite right. All I have done is to scale the
orginal models.
Posted by NoMan ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 12:31:00
I don't think that it was intended to be funny, but Wing
Zero's question was entertaining nonetheless. :-)
The models are just scaled. I don't think he changed any
of the geometry. In otherwords, the number of polygons in
the tiny model is the same as the Colossal, just that the
colossal has bigger polygons.

I'm wondering, how much does that huge one affect PC
performance? I mean it's friggin HUGE! It's gotta be a
ton of polys! That has to have SOME sort of impact on the
game.

LoL
If i wasn't scared of scorpions before, then i would be now.
WOW.
Posted by Storvik ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 12:12:00
The big one is about 80ft long. :-)
Posted by Jugalator ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 11:46:00
lol!
Yeah, now THAT is a huge scorpion! :-O
Posted by Wing Zero ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 11:46:00
Oh dear lord! That's a friggin HUGE bug! RUN AWAY! RUN
AWAY! You need a friggin tanker trailer of Raid to kill
that thing!
Posted by Wolfsong ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-10-28 11:25:00
I wouldn't want to meet the biggest of those... The one that
you can only see the head of...
