Title  13th Monkey Developer Hak
Author  Bokombur
Submitted / Updated  02-03-2003 / 02-03-2003
Category  Combos - Other
Expansions  NWN - 1.29 or lower
Description
This hak contains 2 new tilesets (A generic dungeon and a Rural w/hills + forest combo), over 70 new creatures, including various new cows, scorpions, beetle resizes, mushroom creatures, and more; plus over 400 new placables, including debris, additional chairs, path, road, and railway placables, many new vegitation placables, and some more placables that I have never seen before such as glowing crystal placables, a cannon, and a guillotene. This hak is reccomended for any new mod builder who just needs to get a nice hak without much work, and it includes things that everyone could use. An .erf is included with MANY, but not all, of the things needed. See the web site for more information. NOTE: THIS IS A .RAR FILE! Go to www.rarlabs.com if you need to get a free trial copy. The download would be about 12 mb larger with a .zip file.

why can't we all use zip's. i really hate having to look up what kind of program decompresses what and then finding out that the program is only a time limited use to me. Oh well i'll just start looking to see what types the files are in instead of just downloading them.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 3.50.

My god you are quite the moron. Since when is RAR a new file type?

You know... I'm really glad I uploaded this... I had to reformat my computer and I neglected to backup my hakpaks!!! Thank you, IGN...

urbanprophet, I had no trouble with this hak, perhaps you have to old a version of the RAR archiver software

When I first heard of rar format, I was a little concerned too. After using it for the trial period, I got rid of the WinZip on my comp and bought WinRar. I now use WinRar exclusively. The compression is much better and I like the interface.

Just a heads up for those who are afraid :-D
Pele.

this hak is corrupted and useless

Balzar, just in case you didn't know, the RAR format is a
very common one though ZIP is the standard used for the
world wide web.

In order to uncompress RAR files you just need your usual
Power Archiver (who deals with mani kinds of compressed
formats) or your usual WinRAR (who also deals with many
kinds of compressed, including ZIPs).

It is not known by many for an obscure reason, but zip
files are not so much compressed and awkwardly supports
multiple volumes, whereas both older and newer compressed
formats support all those quite nicely !

Thats VERY odd! I simply zipped and uploaded the hak I was
currently working with! Man, after trying for three days to
get this thing uploaded correctly... oh well, I actually
updated the hak on my machine last night, so.. I guess I
will upload it again. I dont know if it is updated in real
time. In any case, till I get it up, I have posted the .2da
files I am using in a separate rar at my site listed above,
hopefully that will let it work.

Even though it didn't have a picture I decided to give
this potentially great hak a try. After failing to
download 3 times (it was timing out and I'm on dual T1's)
I finally succeeded. I then did all the normal stuff like
create a new module, associate the hak with the module,
save and close then open then import the .erf file and
then save and close. Sadly, out of the 2 dozen monsters
and placeables that I tried not one showed up in the
toolset. Did you forget the appearance file? I don't
seen anything listed in that file. I think something is
missing.
