This mod lets Rizolvir the smith upgrade your henchmen's weapons as well as your own. This is an override, not a hakpack. Extract the contents of the zip to your override directory, and the new dialog options will be there next time you run NWN. I've included the script source files too. All I've done is retarget the Bio scripts. I haven't made any (intentional) changes to the item property costs or availability. Obviously, this will mostly be useful for characters who can't equip their henchmen's items themselves, like mages. Mage players, your Shield Guardian will show in the henchman list. But since it doesn't have any weapon, Rizolvir can't upgrade it. Version 1.1 - bugfix to clear up unrecognized token issues the first time you talk to Rizolvir.
hmmm... offhand, I can't imagine how this could be the cause of those kinds of instability -- unless 1.62 freaks out when you use override, period.
But I haven't played the HotU campaign under 1.62, so I'm not really in a position to know one way or the other. (I've never bothered to clear the files from override, so they should still be there)
i removed this pack from my overrides, and i played NWN for several hours today with nary a hint of trouble (except one which i will get to in a moment). therefore, i can only assume, for now, that this pack must have made my NWN unstable for some reason. i can't imagine how a few script changes could accomplish this, especially if it was stable in 1.61, but until i get further evidence of instability, i must conclude that it is at fault.
the one hint of trouble was when my computer... paused, for about 15 seconds, then it continued normally. even during the pause, there was a small amount of activity every few seconds - i could move the mouse a bit. i was unable to track down the cause, so i suspect some important process needed to do some intense calculation for a bit. it has never happened before, but it did no damage and i have little reason to believe it is the result of whatever was causing my earlier glitches.
i'll post here again if i find that i do have another problem of some kind, but, unless i do, i must warn you that this pack may cause instability in 1.62. install it just long enough to load your game, enchant the weapons, and save in a new slot.

my NWN started acting strangely after i installed this.. general, weird glitches like one character being invisible and inclickable until i reloaded, "find traps" being ineffective, and an unstable dedicated server as well as, more recently, an unstable single player experience...
i dont know if this override is at fault, though. my computer has, twice before, had RAM failures which could theoretically result in something like this.. i removed the overrides and played again for an hour tonight with no problems but i need to do extensive testing tomorrow before i determine if this pack was at fault.
