Neverwinter Nights' City Interior tileset has a bug in it which makes most of the 2x2 home interior groups look exactly the same. Rather than simply fix this bug to make all of the tile groups look as BioWare had intended them to, I decided to change the way those tiles work entirely. You can now place upper and lower floor home tiles as a terrain type, mixing and matching them as you please.
Your home interiors must still be 2x2 tiles in size, but you are no longer limited to a handful of preset interior layouts. Eight different upper floors are possible, and a vast variety of lower floors. Create a single storey house interior with no staircase, make an extended study with an extra set of bookcases, or make a cellar kitchen with a staircase but no door. It's like a visit from the Changing Rooms team, but without the pastel paints and gaudy wall hangings!

Small and sweet. Perfect for a PW with rentalable/leasable housing to give things a bit more flavor. _________________________ I am willing to suspend my disbelief,

Okay, nevermind, the file just updated itself. Finally I can go back to using this hak. Thanks John!

Wow, that was a really fast bugfix :P
But er, although the modules page lists this file as being updated, I seem to be getting the old version of file when I download it (same size, same timestamp on the .hak). Is there some delay between when it's listed as updated and when the new file actually becomes available?

The problem was that the home interior tileset didn't have any edge tiles set, and as the home tiles themselves don't have any back faces you could see through them from the edges of areas. I've now fixed this by adding an edges.2da file for the tileset to the hak pack.

I just wanted to say that I've decided "you rock". Thanks for making things more versatile in a memory-cheap way. I'll be scanning for more Gestalt, that's for sure.

Nice work, this can break up that 'been here before' feeling without downloading a gigantic hak pak.
I was getting tired of turning burned-out staircases into storage areas or junk piles... every time.
And even people on 56k can download the tileset, which is a plus.
I wonder if BioWare can somehow use this as bonus content... since it doesn't use any new art, right? That would be ideal.
