All vanilla neverwinter nights ee Heavy Crossbows are now complete with all their color variations, Icons probably will take a while to complete.

But who uses crossbows?! Primitive races who can't properly use a bow ...sheehs!
Who? Try the ancient chinese - Terracotta Warrior's Crossbow. 2,200 years ago. And they also had repeating crossbows too.

What's the pwc_sieg_001.mdl included?
OK, I see is the ballista placeable. But your mdl has no reference to the new textures. Has something really changed there?
ah yes that was a ballista model bioware never fixed it has moving string when you turn camera and I did a quick fix for it and left it in my override folder :S

Nice I want to download these but I worry it will overrite my Pistol, Musket, long Rifle, Blunderbuss, and Arguebus which are all in the heavy crossbow range. How can I tell by looking in the toolset what the mdl names are since one can only see the resref and tag?
Item ResRef and Models have nothing in common.
What you normally look for is the 2da entry.
But with weapons the system is a bit more weired:
Models follow a very strict naming convention whith numbers that determine at which place of the dropdown menue it is placed.
model011 for example means model 1 color 1
model012 means model 1 color 2
These crossbows will override the vanilla ones.
If your coissbow models you use are numbers past the vanilla ones, like 8 1 or 9 1 or so, you should be fine.
Just test it by making a backup of your override folder and you should be fine.

Ok I downloaded these and bought a vanilla Heavy Crossbow. I do not see any change in the way the heavy crossbow (basic) shows any of the fancy images as per above when equipped.

That number of downloads for the override version does not reflect the actual number of these crossbows have been downloaded. What is happening here is that there are a number of files called "override.zip" across this site and that is the combined number for all of them. Had the person who uploaded this used a more unique name for that file then the number would be much smaller and much more accurate.
