Hey everyone!
A small but important update:
During the last few weeks I have been unable to work much on the server due to finals.
However! Oe important thing we have been able to do:
The reduction of the download size.
From now on a new player only needs to download a maximum of 3GB of data that is [b]automaticly [/b]downloaded on logging in.
Not 7,7GB anymore as it has been before.
I hope that makes it easier for you to just step by.

Hey everyone!
Some may know me as "Leaf", some don't. That's of course ok.
Today i want to introduce to you this upcoming roleplay persistant world, i have been working on for some time now.
The server is built in Cormanthor, the Dalelands in Mistledale and is heavyly roleplay oriented.
We strive to be as close to the D&D ruleset in terms of gameplay and lore as possible and some would have consider it a "hardcore" Rp world, back in the days.
But that only occours towards to ruleset. So please don't be afraid!
The first and most important rule is: Have fun!
We try to play together, not against each other, even though sometimes our characters will...
That means fun is the most important aspect of all and thus beginners aswell as veterans are welcome alike. Wether you know the corebooks at heart or have never heard of how a dice roll works, you are welcome and will be able to play what and how you like.
We try to make everything possible and as long as it doesn't cause trouble, everything can be talked about what and how you want to play it.
The player, you, is meant to be the star here, meant to stay in the focus. It is your adventure, your story, your life.
Live it how you like, but be aware ... even the strogest Adventurer, the mighyest Paladin and the most feared Wizard can find a quick end if consequences are not considered wisely.

No Characterstory has to be approved, you can play immediately whatever race or class you like. But please read our rules before, in order to avoid some issues.
One of the core features of this server is "High Quality". Every map is carefully crafted and considered. Roleplay and Roleplay support is a core aspect and thus DMs are stongly adviced to help, support and assist in every roleplay, or with every issue that occours.
This server is for the players, not for the DMs.
If i was able to make you curious, please don't hesitate to step by and look around. Even though the server is not yet officially started, but should within the next week, you can allready login, create a character and explore the maps.
I however would like to apologize in advance for every issue or problem that might occour or if things are not as fast as you deserve it.
I am currently building this whole project by myself and in my free time during studying. So things might get a bit slow from time to time. I however promise to do whatever I can.

Please feel free to step by and look around. I have no issue with that, of course.
In order to get past the initial "gateblock", ou have to just talk to the first NPC "Sommerwind", just scroll through her dialog, it updates your quests and you can pass the gate to Ashabafurt.
Wow! Now I kinda wish I spoke German, and had Enhanced Edition...
Well the second thing is easy to fix! It is an investment into the future of NWN!
The first thing, well i can suggest you to check out "The Dragons Neck", their builders have the same love for details and some of the most beautyfull and mystic areas in the community. It is english speaking of course.

Ahem. After seeing the screenshots from one of the Dutch Masters, I feel like I've been painting with crayons and chalk for the last 10 years.

Is this NWN1 EE? because those screen shots all look like NWN2.
You should wait till the new renderer und shaders are released.
I am pretty sure NwN:EE will succeed NWN2 in graphics and gameplay by far!

Seriously, this is some of the most beautiful building I've ever seen; I wish I could build literally 25% as good as this, it is absolutely amazing. I wish I could speak German to play on this server. Great job, amazing screenshots, and great "mission statement' !

Oh wow. Das ist das erste Mal, seit ich NWN kenne, dass ich einem PW-Team beitreten wollen würde, und gerade jetzt kann/sollte ich es mir IRL eigentlich zeitlich nicht leisten. x_x ARGHGHHGHGHGHHH.
Das ist fantastisches Area-Design, und eine wunderschöne Einstellung zum "PW-Besitzertum", Leaf. Hut ab. Wenn ich zwischendrin irgendwo bei Kleinigkeiten mithelfen kann, so wie wenn NWScript-Probleme gelöst werden müssen oder hin und wieder mal ein 3D-Modell gebraucht wird oder verändert werden müsste, lass es mich wissen. :-) Im Sinne von "Hashtag 'YayProsozialeMentalität'! Einer für alle, alle für einen!" - ihr steht nicht alleine da.

Generell gilt sowieso: Soviel wie man selber kann und will und Zeit hat.
Was ich halt nur gerne hätte, ist ein gewisses Grundengagement und Involvierung in Dingen. Denn leider hatte ich auch schon Leute dabei, die dann Wochenlang nichtmal hallo sagten und sich nichtmal die neuen Maps angesehen haben.
Das zeigt mir dann auch, dass der Fokus wirklich woanders liegt.
Ansonsten würde ich mich niemals wagen jemandem zu sagen wieviel er wie machen muss, oder sonst was.
Das ganze hier ist ein Hobby, keiner wird bezahlt, es ist Freizeit.
Was ganz förderlich ist, ist eine gewisse altruistische Grundeinstellung, dass man das hier nicht für sich selber macht, sondern für die Community, für die Spieler. Klar man selbst ist irgendwo immer auch Spieler, sogesehen dann auf der ebene auch für sich selbst.
Was ich nur nicht mag, das hast du ja schon bemerkt, ist diese Einstellung manche Admins, SL und Modulbauer, dass es sich um sie dreht, ihr Modul ist und Spieler sogesehen eine Art von Waren oder Besitz darstellen.
Spieler kommen, wenn ich Dinge richtig mache und ihnen ein schönes Zuhause bieten kann, wenn das nicht der Fall ist, mache ich was falsch, dann muss ich daran etwas ändern.
Also wie gesagt, wenn du möchtest, schau einfach mal vorbei, dann gucken wir mal was geht!

Solange man mir sowas sagt ist das ja auch alles kein Problem, dann weiß ich ja was ist.
Wenn man aber gar nichts sagt, ist die erste Assoziation eben eine andere.
Aber wir müssen das ja nicht hier öffentlich ausbreiten. Wie gesagt komm einfach mal in den Discord. Bin ab jetzt da. Dann reden wir.
Ich finde es jedenfalls toll, dass du trotzdem du keine Zeit/Lust/Möglichkeit hast einem solchen Team voll beizutreten, für dieses Projekt etwas tun und helfen möchtest. Ich hätte sogar die ein oder andere wichtige Sache, die noch dringend fehlt, ich aber selber nicht hinbekommen kann.
Wenn du also gern eine art "Freier Mitarbeiter" sein magst, gern, dann weiß ich ja woran ich bin, das ist alles kein Problem!
Auch, dass du sowas gern auch der Community zur Verfügung stellen willst finde ich gut.
Das ist auch mein Ansatz, schließlich hab ich auch viel von der Community bekommen.

ui, ja. Das musst du wissen; der Zwerkules ist nämlich ein gemeingefährlicher respektloser Rüpel der nie hilft. Das ist ganz schlimm. Der ist berüchtigt! Ich hab gehört, dass der sogar was gegen Regenbögen hat! Kannst du dir das vorstellen? Is 'n Skandal. Dass sowas überhaupt frei rumlaufen darf! Geht gar nicht.
Wirf niedliche Tierbilder nach ihm wenn er dich ärgert. Am besten welche, die glitzern. Das wird ihm eine Lehre sein!
Münzgeldsystem jetzt testbar. Bei Bedarf Münzkostenwerte hochschrauben; die größeren Münzen sind drin, weil bei höheren GP-Werten sonst sehr schnell die Tasche überquillt.

Danke dir! Und klar, ich bin für Hilfe immer dankbar. Meiner Meiung nach sollte die NWN Comm zusammenhalten und zusammen etwas aufbauen, statt an Konkurenz zu denken.
Ihr schafft den Sprung auf EE auch, wenn es Probleme gibt, einfach melden, ich hab zwar garkeine Ahnung aber die teile ich gerne!
Du hast ja noch gar keine Erfahrung darin keine Ahnung zu haben. Ich habe schon seit fast fünfzig Jahren keine Ahnung und keine Ahnung, von was ich keine Ahnung habe. Das ist verdammt viel Erfahrung!

Ich habe auf dem Modul über mehrere Wochen/Monate gespielt. Meine Bewertung begründet sich durch die mehrheitlich negativen Erfahrungen auf und neben dem Server während dieser Zeit.
