yet another side-quest.
this one is designed for characters of around 15th level.

This is a well designed and fun module, though it does get a bit repetive in places, particularly some of the early encounters. It definitely turns out different than it starts, but there are sufficient clues along the way to let the player know what they're in for.

Your character should be well equipped to protect and repair mind and metabolism. Also, a fighter type character will have a harder time than a character with significant magical defenses and offenses. Stealth ability would also be useful. 15th level does seem to be a good level for a single PC. A balanced party of 3 - 4 characters of levels 11 - 12 should find it a good challenge.
My 15th level paladin Ray O'Light had most of what he needed with his modest selection of clerical spells, but could not get through it without the occasional reload or running away (how ignomious for a paladin!) and retiring to rest, picking a different mix of spells to make it through the encounter that defeated him previously. Admittedly that character had a pretty narrow focus and equipment to match. A more balanced selection of equipment would have helped, as would being able to summon your own allies/cannon fodder.
I suspect that this would be a great solo adventure for a 15th level monk.

As one of those really annoying people that loves word games, I appreciate the punny title. (;->
