This is a collection of high definition PBR textures that overrides the appearance of the default Mines and Caverns tileset. Aside from providing better visuals for regular uses, it is the intend to inspire other content artists.
It comes in both a 1K and 2K variant as well as providing the TGA sources. The difference in visual quality between the 1K and 2K variants is minor, so use the 1K variant unless you have a mid-to-high end graphics card.
Note: since it exclusively override the textures, any texture warping or stretching on the models themselves remain, so some oddities are to be expected. Fixing that is for another project.
Setup:
Extract to your user Neverwinter Nights folder.

What tools did you use?
They are based on publicly available base PBR materials, but then tweaked and put together in Gimp using varying masking and other techniques. I'll give more elaborate details later :)

Added this to my userpatch.ini and it adds so much to some of the other HD tilesets that have come out.

I've had problems with this kind of texture override for years now. I put them into the emptied override folder in the user's doccuments, where all my overrides have been forever, working as intended, but PBR overrides never work! The textures are dull and weird, and lighting doesn't affect them. Hope you can shed some light on why this happens. I'm using the latest GOG, NWNEE update, so there shouldn't be any issue. Beamdog's weapon/shield and Halls of Justice overrides do work as intended, as do miqail's Enhanced Crates and anvil, so I don't know why tileset overrides just don't.
Hmmm... I'm guessing this one was an earlier release than your desert and underdark tilesets. It doesn't share the quality of those. Perhaps a revision/remake could happen?
I might be wrong, but I assume you thought I did this override.
I did not, it's all Soren's work, which by the way, is the work that inspired me to do my overrides, without this, I would never have done anything for this game :)
IIRC, a md linked my work to this page, and this page to my work, as they were similar projects. I kept that for my following overrides.
