Netheril: Age of Magic

Netheril: Age of Magic is a persistent world roleplaying server that is using the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition; our world will be set in in the Golden Age of the Netheril Empire.

1652NY marks the beginning of Netheril’s Golden Age, when the nation was at the very pinnacle of its power, and the beginning of our story. Netheril began lifting one enclave into the sky per year. Soon, dozens of these magnificent monoliths of magic rode the air currents or moved in orbital patterns around the loosely defined borders of the Netheril empire. Each archwizard who created his enclave heeded Ioulaum’s example, setting up his or her own laws and guidelines that the enclave’s residents had to follow. Taking advantage of the resource-rich area around Hadrian, the Lady Valstiir moved her enclave just within sight of the port trading city and declared herself the protector of the lands and people of the area. This is where our story will begin.

These haks have been taken from a wide variety of contributors and we thank each and everyone who has had a hand in making the content for the Neverwinter Nights community, these haks are what will be required to enter the world of Netheril and over time we may look at changing and altering them as we add new content. Our server, at this time, is in development and not open to the public. Keep an eye here for updates and news; please feel free to look at the haks we have at the moment if you like.

 

 

 

03/27/2018  A new version of the haks has been deployed or at least is being deployed as I type this, to the Steam Workshop. For now, I have removed the haks from here as I can not upload to two different places at once Oo. Fear not! I will get the new haks up here ASAP!

 

03/04/2018 A new version of the full haks has been done. AgeOfMagic1_3 Full.7z. Download this file (which now contains the missing tlk) if you have not downloaded the haks before the this is the file you need. Move the zip into your Neverwinter Nights directory and right click on it to 'extract here'.

 

If you do not need to get the full hak file then grab the update_3.7z,  move the zip into your Neverwinter Nights directory and right click on it to 'extract here' and when prompted, overwrite any files it flags.

 

01/29/2018  Due to a mishap with converting tga's to dds's the update striped many new textures away which was unfortunate. As of now the update 2a is fixed.
