Just an experiment with the new feature in NwN EE. Added Normal & Specular Maps to some of the textures in my Celtic Knots Package. I originally tried this with all the textures in that package and came to the conclusion that the "marble" texture without those maps looks better. So for this release I have only added the maps to the "metallic" ones which I personally think look gorgeous. Please try before you comment. Package only contains the hak and demo module as this is an experiment.

Works pretty well
Shiny!
Nice work.
The "(alias=bitmap)" at the end of the texture0 parameter is not necessary. Might even interfere, not sure about that though.
Thanks.
I left that in because until we have official word all I knew was what I had read in the BD forums. Also alias is a keyword often used in both programming languages and .ini files so could possibly be a valid instruction. So far it hasn't caused any problems.
On the other hand now I've got some more experiments to do. Having something like 135 models to edit I'll need to write a simple program to do it for me and I'll need to know for certain about just how optional it is. If I can leave it out, it will simplify the programming ever so slightly.

Good grief no. texture0= is equivalent to bitmap=. You can use one or the other. That's what the alias comment meant.
Right. Thanks. Yay, slightly less programming for the bulk insertion of lines tool I am designing.

Good work in becoming the best of the best to the finish line in providing this content!
FP!
So far it is looking as though for old textures people will need to experiment on a case by case basis. The metallic ones were always supposed to look more or less metallic. The marble ones on the other hand... I had already done quite a bit of processing on those to give some vague idea of 3dness which is probably why they weren't improved by adding the maps. I've retained the maps I generated and the models I altered but didn't use. Vague possibility they'll be of use someday.

Oh dear god. This is what we expect?
A. This is an experiment.
B. Be more specific.

It was a compliment. They look amazing - possibly, even better than what I saw in the Beamdog stream!
