Now you can play Neverwinter Nights with Baldur’s Gate 2’s spell casting chants and sound effects! Over 280 exported, converted and hand tailored .WAV files faithfully brought in, bringing you the closest replication of the original classic’s vision possible. A massive undertaking demanding a week of non-stop around the clock effort.
This mod will install via override and contains the following file prefixes:
sar_ & sca_: On Cast (Burning Hands, Cone of Cold...)
scm_: Elemental Hits (Hurt by Acid, hurt by Fire...)
sco_: Channeling (Accompanying VFX centered on the caster.)
sdr_, sff_ & sim_, : Various SFX (Mage Armor, Cure Wounds...)
spr_: Projectile (Traveling Spells.)
sps_: Lingering (Grease, Entangle...)
vs_chant_: School Chants (Evocation, Necromancy...)

Fantastic work. Truly enjoyable to hear the sounds from the Baldur's Gate series playing as a spellcaster. Easy to install and the results are immediate.

Love the mod, but the chanting sounds are too soft. I hope you can make them sound as loud as the vanilla casting sounds.
Thank you! When i finished BG and started NWN the first thing that stood out was that the spell sounds were much less unique and just more boring in general. Was waiting for this mod for years!
