This modder resource provides a new creature for Neverwinter nights 2 : a giant wasp.
Installation instructions :
In the zip folder, you'll find 2 files.
- Copy the "wasp_hak.hak" file in My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/hak folder. Don't forget to associate it with your module in the toolset.
- In the toolset, import the "wasp_erf.erf" file to find the creature blueprint in the creatures list. The wasp is tintable.
IMPORTANT NOTE : I provided a script with my wasp blueprint, its goal is to make the wasp corpse disappear more quickly when the creature is killed. I made this because the buzzing sound doesn't stop when the creature is killed, but only when the corpse disappear (it's a bug associated with all the Nwn2 creatures making looping sounds, for example elementals).

not sure how to use the appearancesndset.2DA . . . . . never had one of these in our mods before . . . . is there another place it has to access to pull chitin from ?
No, not that I know of... just place the appearancesndset.2DA file in your override file, and it should be ok.
