A few vault members have requested an English version of Claudius33's A Slave Destiny, despite having few skills in NWN2 building or French I made a version that I have been playing for a while. With Claudius33's permission I'll load it for others to try. This is not bi-lingual, simply English instead of French, except for one bard song because, well just because. Another bard can't talk in rhyme any more because I can't either, nor could Bing translate at this time. From the original page:
Story driven single player campaign, first part, in a medieval world using historical references.
18 to 20 hours of play, from level 1 to level 8.
~80 quests
~7 companions, each with his/her personality, including a own designed influence system
~ 100 areas or interiors to visit
Tens of NPCs to interact with
In French. (May be some skilled translators...) edit(I wish)
*NEW* Part I and Part 2 Quests Log in English available.
** NEW ** Walkthrough Part I and Part II and useful information in English available.
Patch level NWN2 1.1153
More about the files provided:
slave_destiny.zip is the campaign directory for both part one and two, and includes the debug files.
The module archives still have the placeholder for part two which must be overwritten as in that parts instructions.
Included the override file I use for both parts, which may get around some of the clothing instructions Claudius33 provided, rework this to individual taste(less) as desired, and the trailing _sd to give a chance to save any favorite override from harm.
Claudius33 said he will take credit for bugs and glitches from the original but while I might have removed one or two I'm sure to have added more myself, messing with factions to get the civilians and farm animals from going on the attack plus other scripted events. (A few mass battles are much easier in my version)

Thanks for the huge work of translating it.
I will regularly check in case players run into trouble.
Nice story but were so many gear strips really needed? six not counting the module on start, wich made sense..but the others were almost gratuitousIm talking LOTS of gear strips and then locked behind doors that need keys but are not found. Be prepared to open the toolset to find key Id tags and then use the giveitem command.
I respect your opinion, but I did not find the gear strips to be a problem, and they made sense to me.
I had zero issues with finding keys (and the other ways to open certain doors).
Just to name one instance. At one point your companion is locked in a room with your gear in a chest. The key to the chest never spawned or was dropped or was even to be found and the door could not be destroyed orthe lock picked. I talked to the companion and she joind the party through the locked door and then walked through the door to follow me but the door remained locked and indestructible. Second play throughh yealded a bug where you could never leave the port despite lifting the blockade and finishing all the quests and side quests in the area.
This was a wonderful effort by the author and great effort was put into it to translate it but unltimately I couldn't finished even after I reinstalled the mod as mentioned above and on the second part's page with a new character. Still I give it 9/10 for the story .
Thanks for your appreciation Kreedmoore. Glad you enjoyed it. Of course my opinion regarding gear strips is biaised, let's just say it made sense to me as Elric pointed it out.
Great to see this ralebeau!
I still need to get through two other large modules and some real life of course. This will be the next thing I play!
I just finished parts 1 and 2 and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
First and foremost, a huge Thank You to ralebeau for the incredible hard work to convert all the dialogue. It is truly appreciated.
Thank you to Claudius for yet another epic historical adventure. One of the best content creators of all time !
Be prepared...on hardcore mode the battles are very very difficult. Excellent environments give you lots of tactical options, and you will need all those health potions you find. In several places, I had to use the "retreat the area and rest" tactic. My party was often wiped out ! A great challenge and great fun.
I encountered no bugs or glitches.
BRAVO !
Thanks. BING Translate did most of the work, and got quite cross with me towards the end, but when it gave me "Moving Rocks" I had to re-translate into "Rolling Stones" to make that modern reference work.
Thanks for your kind appreciation Elric. I'm really glad you didn't encountered any bug. It was my first and likely buggiest mod!
I'm glad too you highlighted the tactical challenge.
Again a huge thanks to ralebeau for the translation.
Minor Bug
The PC has rescued Anne and Nathan, escaped the Krak, and returned to the camp. Two quest are still open that should probably be closed.
Solved: You must give both scrolls to Nathan while in the Krak area to trigger a conversation.
Completed and on to part two!
Lots of long hard fights. Good tactics pay off here.
