Five hundred years ago, Nenkal Isle was the capital of a mighty empire: a city of lush gardens, holy temples and lovely mountain vistas. In the course of only a few days, all of that changed when the mountain at the isle's center erupted in a conflagration of fire, ash and lava--killing nearly every citizen. For generations, the isle has remained a shunned place, a ruin rumored to hold untold horrors, haunted by restless spirits and accursed abominations. In all the years, none have gone to Nenkal and returned with their lives and sanities intact. Now, it is your turn.

The story is really intriguing but I can't go further after the meeting with the Nightmare in the barn, beacause the game crash to desktop after descending in the trapdoor and trying to reach the chest! :(
Not rated: Got as far as the farmland area and made level 3 but hit a plot breaking bug. Crashed every time I tried to retrieve the key treasure.
General - Areas not that interesting. Story a bit convoluted. Voice acted by the developers. Alternate crafting system though NPCs only.
I've had a breaking crash at the same location.
It's really unfortunate, because I was enjoying this mod immensely. I liked the complex backstory, and the visuals -- large, broken vistas of gray stone and withered weeds -- gave a great sesne of desolation. Sound-FX are properly spooky. The fights were appropriately scaled, though 1st-level guys are just so fragile...
So, Oleksiuk if you still exist, can ya throw us a bone here? You've created a massive mod (171 MB zipped), and most of it is blocked by this bug. I'd really love to check out the rest, and don't think I'm alone in that.
I completely agree with Akaoi: a pity. I tried to use the dm_jumptopoint cheat to bypass the speaktrigger (hoping it wouldn't be a critical point), but I didn't manage. If someone has any idea or Oleiksuk is still around, please, help!!!
Taking a look in the comments posted in the Rolovault media link, I saw that some players suggested that removing Budd from the party at this point should let you go on. Alas, none of the Debug codes that I know seem able to remove him. If this gives someone a clue, again, please, help!
P.S.- I've good and bad news. The god ones are that travus (thanks a lot!) let in a dropbox the override fixes for the critical point in the barn. The bad ones are that, once you get to the chest it's very little left to do: you're at chapter one's end. If someone is interested, check the "nwn2 dm_jumptopoint" post in the forum.
