"Tired of the grim and frozen north, you have headed south to Zamora to see what the so-called "civilised" lands may offer. But a baptism of fire awaits you once you step within the gates of Arenjun, Zamora's second city and renowned throughout the Hyborian lands as the City of Thieves."
These are the second chronicles set in RE Howard's world of Conan and they are suitable for one or more PCs of around 15-17th level, either pre-existing PCs who completed Conan Chronicles 1 or new PCs who can be autoleveled at the start of the game.
Features of the adventure include:
Notes:
The Size_Wand_1.0.zip is just a few files to put in your override folder that allows you change the size of a PC, just as a cosmetic effect. Select the PC as the default target in game, press tilde, type DebugMode 1, type GiveItem sizewand, then type DebugMode 0 to exit debug mode, and you will receive a size wand.

A Hall of Fame-awarded module on the old Vault, this adventure had a score of 9.77 out of a possible 10, with 29 votes. Here are the download counts:
A fantastic campaign with the Conan look and feel. The adventure can be pretty challenging at times, even though due to the random loot drops you end up with a really overpowered character.
There are a few bugs though
Quite a few bugs, yes.But a great city and Conan feeling galore. Most problems can be fixed with reloads, had some crashes, also. And you can pickpocket quest items from some npc and get the xp again and again :D
And i think the Yoggite Hideout is the best dungeon ever.
This campaign is far superior than the first one! A great city adventure full of quests, places to visit, NPCs and roleplaying options.
In the first module you mess up with guilds, thiefs and evil cults in what I would really call an "underground" adventure. The Yoggish Pit is one of the craziest dungeon that I ever visited and I must admit that without the walkthrough I would still be there, triyng to find my way out!
The second module perhaps is the weakest of the three: the main quest is very short and easy, though you can have fun by messing with temples and by participating in wars among priests.
The third module albeit a bit short is really astounding with a creepy main quest that will send shivers down your spine.
*** WARNING! THE WALKTHROUGH OF THE 3rd MODULE IS INCOMPLETE ***
Be aware that the walkthrough of "God in the Bowl" is missing a whole side quest, which concerns a certain Lady Tamara, a rich and beautiful woman that lives in the north part of the merchant district. You can get it either by talking with the chief of the merchant guild or with the magistrate and then by helping an errand boy to get rid of a band of thugs who is harassing him in the street. I must say that the quest is a little bugged, especially during the first encounter with Lady Tamara: every time I chose a certain line of dialogue my game kept crashing to desktop, therefore I had to choose the other line of dialogue (which is not really a problem since it is the answer that your character is really supposed to give). That quest also provides one of the most difficult battle in the whole module.
I have the feeling that either the author added it later and then forgot to update the walkthrough or that the walkthrough that was uploaded here, for some reason, is an older version.
*** BUGS ***
Apart from that crash during Lady Tamara's quest I had very few bugs this time, far less than during the first campaign. The only major glitch is when I recruited the Panthers Guild Mistress as my henchman. After she joined me if I tried to start a dialogue with her I could only repeat the same conversation that I used to recruit her, therefore there was no way to dismiss her and my character was stuck with her 'til the end of the module. Not a big complain, tho.
Overall this adventure was really a beautiful experience.. Howard must be very proud of this! :D
I actually have Lady Tamara in the walkthrough, but i can't trigger the quest. No matter what i talk with the Guild clerk, he never mentions her, might there be a way to force trigger the quest?I'm actually replaying the campaign to see if it was a one time bug, but i still get nothing.
In my case Tamara's quest triggered after I finished the main quest. After dealing with the mess in the museum I talked both with the chief of the guild and with the magistrate in his office and among other things we talked about Tamara. I can confirm that before entering the museum the chief of the guild didn't have any dialogue line about her. As soon as I left the magistrate office (or the guild? I can't remember which was..) the meeting with Tamara's servant and the band of thugs triggered automatically.
I really enjoyed the Conan Chronicles so far, but this module is a scourge for my sanity.
Load a saved game: crash.
Load a quicksave: crash.
Open a door and enter: crash.
Exit from the same or another door: crash.
Walk upstairs: crash.
Walk downstairs: crash.
The Yoggite Mansion is a nightmare: not for story-related reasons, but because it's taking me DAYS to finish it, because of the crashes.
Every time I have to do 10 - 12 reloads, hoping that time the game will load properly.
I'm currently having ten times more crashes in Arenjun that in all my multiple playthroughs combined.
I've never had similar issues with other campaigns or modules. I've just tried another campaign, and it runs perfectly fine.
Did you try lowering the graphic settings and/or disabling some video effects? Also, starting it in windows xp compatibility mode sometimes can help preventing many CTD.
Thanks, but the game just crashed again with WinXP (SP3) compatibility and the lowest possible settings.
Just to clarify, my PC is a mid-to-high gaming (and work) machine, and it shouldn't have any issues running the game with the highest settings.
Thanks for the suggestion, anyway!
The weird thing is that you are having this problem only with this specific module, therefore there must be something related to it. Have you already tried emptying your override folder?
I have already tried to delete everything but Kaedrin's Pack.
Now I deleted it too, and the module loaded like a charm.
I downloaded the K pack again, just to be sure, then I installed it in the override folder again, and... voilà.
Maybe something got corrupted along the way? I'll keep playing and we'll see, but I've already loaded two transitions flawlessly.
Fingers crossed!
Well. there's a good chance it was the culprit. At any rate, I am glad to see everything is right, now. Let's hope it stays that way and have fun. :)
Never mind - I received some help and my problem with the secret door hopefully has been fixed!
I have an issue. I'm doing God In The Bowl quest and I'm at the museum. I hear the guard screaming, and I go downstairs. The guard's corpse is there, but there is no cut scene or anything! Speaking to just anybody doesn't move the story further. Curiously when I turn on the Debug Mode there is no trigger there. Reloading doesn't help either. Is there any way to get around that?
Anyway both campaigns are superb, one of my best RPG experiences. But I'm afraid this is the end of it for me.
game crashes unpacking the module on first start up
