A mystical rod which summons the shopkeeper.
A shameless rip from Vordan's hero creator, this rod, when activated opens the gui and shops from Vordan's hero creator, which contain nearly all the items in the game, neatly organized.
The main character must be selected when the rod is activated for the rod to function properly.
Instructions:
1. Download and unzip to override folder.
2. Open console with ` key
3. Type debugmode 1
4. Type giveitem rod_shopkeeper to spawn the rod
5. Type debugmode 0
6. Close the console with the ` key

it didn't work for me... i got the rod but choosing item categories does not open an actual item inventory.
Sorry to hear that. Did you try the 1.1 version? I just downloaded it and popped it into a fresh neverwinter nights 2 install and loaded the OC and it's working fine.
MadMage999
Yes i got it from Nexus, it works fine thank you!
Convinient tool!
Very handy, esp if you are playing one of the many unfinished modules on the vault. Many of those lack the needed stores.
I also have cdaulepp's Random Loot Generator. How would I be able to incorporate the two so that the items that the Loot Generator adds into the mix can also be purchased from the Rod of the Shopkeeper? Does this also access the items from the Coin of the Jeannie, which comes from Kaedrin's PRc Pack?
Otherwise, I like this so far.
The inventory of the Rod of the Shopkeeper is fixed, the loot generator replaces the stock random treasure scripts in the game. You'd have to rewrite the Rod's scripts to get new randomw items.
Hope that helps.
I meant The Complete Craftsman, not Random Loot. My bad.
So, is this possible?
As is, they don't interact at all. The Rod works from a list of items stored in it's override folder. Just like other normal shops, these are static except for what you buy and sell.
Interactive shops can be done that get new random items but they require a different set of scripts. For an expample, see the Gypsy merchant in the mod Endless Depths. It does use cdalupps' scripts.
Not sure how the Complete Craftsman matters in using the Rod. That does allow you to craft some additional items not included in the original crafting scheme, but you could make those anyway just using the tool set and add them to your game. That's one of the easier parts of the game to mod.
