Description:

Knee-High Leather Boots. Not exactly Lore-Friendly.. but they do look sexy on Thayan Mages.

 

UPDATE: Male variant added - Huge thanks to cuiilv who cracked these out using the same textures.

 

NOTICE: XP_CRAFT has hardcoded values for armorvisualtype lookup.. Please modify nwnx_craft_system to add the TRT entry if you wish to have my content work in XP_CRAFT.

 

Current Content:

  • Single pair of High Heel Shoes. Fully Weight Painted to Fit most Legs Without Clipping Issues.
  • Fully Tintable
  • Only Supports the Base Human Female Model.. You can MDB Clone for Elves / Hafling. (My appearances.2da has converted elf bodies to human)
  • No Support for Orcs / Dwarves / Gnomes planned - sorry.

Nice work. They'd be good for modern or steampunk modules, I'd imagine. Perhaps even some future sci-fi.

They are leather, so they do work for forgotten realms.. Like Drow or Thayans.. but yea in general not practical or anything..

Why is it that it would look good only on Drow or Thayans. Maybe it is because of when I grew up but I knew good women that wore boots like that. Any woman would look good in them. Practicality went out the window in RPG's a long time ago. On a world that has full plate armor going back 1,000's of years it might happen. Heck men on our world wore thigh high boots as far back as 800 years ago. Variety is spice of life. Excellent work by the way. Pat on the back.

These boots are wonderful. I did some boots too, but I never was able to make them look like yours : your leather texture is perfect.

IIRC these were made to be placed in a module by module builders. It's for hak pack not an override. I sent you a pm about some that are for the override and can be gotten from the DebugMode.

I downloaded this module and it seems to work fine, except it doesn't show for Moon, Sun, Elf, and Drow Elves. Wild Elves show it, but not them.

In case anyone else is interested: I did what Trinital suggested in the description and cloned the MDBs for elves.

Please keep in mind that I only edited the MDB metadata so that the boots would show up on elves. It looked fine on first glance, but if there are any visual problems (boots appear too big, clipping, etc.), then that's way, way beyond my abilities. I barely know what I'm doing here.
