UOAbigail's Crafting System v0.8b This system is intended to be very easy to use, both for the module builder, and for the player. There are no cumbersome conversation menus in this system. This system is entirely drag-n-drop. This system includes everything needed to setup a crafting module in less than 10 minutes (other than actually designing the module areas and placing the resources into those areas) Please read the included README file for complete information.
**** This version includes the entire v0.8a file plus an additional .erf containing a couple replacement scripts to address an exploit on multiplayer servers.
**** Thank you in advance. UOAbigail

You probably should have made your test MOD without Haks, so that we could sample the contents without needing to port everything into a new module first.
I'm personally just trying to read some code to figure out where to start with my own system and the extra labour of creating an entirely new module just to read and only maybe sample is kind of a turn off.
Otherwise though, thank you.
Will update description later.. v0.8b has a fix for an old exploit that I was unable to test for back when v08a was released. v08b contains the whole v0.8a mod/erf package plus an additional erf to import over the v08a script that required fixing. Also, am now using standard .zip format instead of .rar for the current time.
You could post here a list of the quality of materials. For example, is iron better than copper? Thank you!
Greetings ;) Material progression for mining/smelting/smithing is as follows (easiest to hardest)
Iron
Dull Copper & Silver
Shadow Iron
Copper
Bronze
Gold
Agapite & Platinum
Verite & Mithril
Valorite & Adamantite
Progression into Dull Copper/Silver starts at 65.0.. and every 5.0 thereafter for the next hardest until you reach verite at 95.0.. Valorite requires 98.0 if I remember right.
Hope that answers your question ;)
Peace
Always loved this system. Anyone know why the logbooks wouldnt work? Just got back into designing with NWN EE.
Fixed logbooks, my error. Anyone have a spreadsheet of recipes? used to be one a while ago.
This is great that it has been updated!! LOVED this system.
Thank you, Abigail
I'm just impressed at the immense amount of work that went into this, and the quality of the outcome of that work. Just merging the event scripts into my own and beautifying them was the only real script integrating I had to do. The real work is just in building this into the world, which will be hard if you're modifying an existing module like me, but relatively painless if you're building from scratch already. Thanks from another lifelong UO fan!
