This is a small edit to two 2da's. The primary purpose was to allow the Ranger class to fulfill the magic requirement for the Arcane Archer, as in our viewpoint the Ranger class was always tailor-made for the AA class. As well, based on the description of the Ranger as "skilled", we changed the skill points to 6 + INT / level instead of the default 4. And finally, Tumble was added as a class skill; again, it only made sense for the class in our opinion.
Once extracted simply place the files in your override, or include in your hak if you wish to make it available for players in your modules.
If you wish to use true 3.5 edition rules and have them apply to your Ranger (which this is not), than take a look at this package on the vault here, which is a derivitive of an earlier package. :)

There is any reason why one have to use a ranger as base for AA. Any character able to use a bow an with elven blood; Is adequate for that class. It's just a comment not a critique....
No, no one has to use a Ranger as a base class; you may use whatever class you wish. We just looked at the Ranger should be able to satisfy the magic requirement for the AA class, irrespective of whatever other class combo a player wished to use. Your standard Fighter/Wizard/AA build is still doable with this edit. This way though you could make say a Rogue/Ranger/AA, Fighter/Ranger/AA, etc. :)
Approve that the Ranger has 6+int skills. However, Tumble does not become a class skill.
Decided to change my vote to a 10. Don't care that tumble is not a class skill as ranger/assassin/arcane archer is now my favourite PC classes.
