This is an update of Gileans ridable horses, all credit goes to Gilean and to Zonkers for his handy horse portrait hak. I simply combined the two so you can now have a horse portrait to go along with you horses. I have included Gileans test module modified slightly which contains all the scripts in the right place. There is an erf for a horse skin item that goes in the blueprints belt slot that adds haste to the mount to make it move faster. To use the hak simply add it to your module resources, inport the erf file and your ready to go, to use this hak in your own module you have to place gsc_oai in the module onactivate, and gsc_oce in the module onenter events, if you already have scripts in those events simply include these two into your existing scripts. Then for every area you would like someone to be able to use the saddle to summon there mount you must edit the area properties, advanced, variable and add the variable line, name(stalla_var) type(int) value(1) Then you will be ready to summon you horse and ride. useing the variable settings you can control which areas your players can summon and store there mounts in, either only in stables and safe areas or in any outdoor area and so on. I have tested this with sou+hotu167 and sou+hotu167+cep153, as well as with Orlanders realistc persistant world system and it worked well in all of them. I am working on expanding the hak to try and add Gus's models to it as well, and to find some horse sound files to add to it. Have fun :) |
