Goon's Ridiculously cool NS4 Description Hak

Hello ns4 gamers,

This is a hack that allows all your in-game feat, spell, and class descriptions to match that of the ns4 wiki.

If you find any bugs don’t hesitate to tell me as I will be occasionally updating the hack.

At this point it works by a script I wrote to scrape the ns4 wiki and update all the descriptions in the dialog file, if your interested in the code feel free to contact me, the script is written in swift and is a little messy at the time of this writing.

Limitations:

The only current limitations with this hack is that it will modify all your descriptions regardless of what server you are playing on, I personally keep two copies of nwn one with the hack for playing ns4, and one without.

Installation:

1.) Download the file and unzip it.

2.) Navigate to your NWN directory (this is the same directory with the cdkey files and pref files).

3.) Rename the “dialog.tlk” file in your nwn directory to “dialogbackup.tlk”.

4.) Move the downloaded file to the nwn directory and restart nwn.

How do I go back?

If you’ve installed the hack and you want to revert nwn back to how it was before, simply:

1.) Delete the installed dialog.tlk

2.) Rename your backup (“dialogbackup.tlk”) back to “dialog.tlk”.
