This is my adaption of one of my favorite maps in the D&D settings. I took some liberty changing things to fit in NWN. This is my first map and I am just learning scripting so go easy on me. I would appreciate any 'constructive critisism' but no name calling. I play tested it quite abit, but I would appreciate feed back on any bugs found. Hope you enjoy it. I am going to start on X5 Temple of Death, the second part very soon. |

I'll start my review out by saying the one positive thing about this mod: The author really tried to create the PNP feel. It felt like playing a table top game. That works out really bad for a crpg. There were some basic grammar and spelling errors, which were not crucial, but funny in most cases. But there were no map pins, no journal updates for quests and many things just didn't work. For example, we could not find a way to get rid of the guardian dragon using a password, because there was nothing in the game that gave us the password. No letter or journal or overly gabby stranger whatsoever. We basically had to out run it, which turned out to be no problem since it couldn't follow us into the next area through the transition. In the last area, we could not find a boss to beat. We ran through the whole overly large, complex and poorly designed tunnels to find every random encounter ''medusa, umber hulk, basalisk etc'' but no boss. We exited the dungeon and were presented a sign that said ''Congrats you beat the mod, here is where the next part will begin.'' Uh no, we didn't beat it. Well I guess I'll give this a 4/10 because the author really tried to create something nice, but it fell short. We also won't be going onto the next mod.
Thanks for the review.
