Do you need to play a character form first part or roll a new one? Are there any differences?
"You will need at least 5 points in the persuade skill to get passed the docks area."
As a suggestion, give other ways to pass?
Such as intimidade, bluff, high int, stupid, or humerous options too?
That's a nice surprise. The first one was just great and this one is definitely in my *to play* list. Even if it is just an alpha I will download and give it a try just to get a preview of what the full mod will be! Thanks a lot Wkbuilder... I really didn't expect to the see the second chapter of Willie's saga so soon. It is good to know NWN1 builders are still far from retirement. The game may look old by today's standards, but is still one of the best tools for storytelling out there!
It seems I am stuck in the first district for some reason...
*SPOILERS*
I really liked the story so far... the first act, inside the brothel, is very nice - the opening scene does present the starting point of the whole story in a very effective way and the reason for the character's actions. And the preparation for her license is a good idea - the training with the Sensei was interesting and so is the conversation with the Twins, only the BDSM and fetish trainning seemed a bit hasty, perhaps a BDSM scene with the fake succubus girl is in order.
I did have some problems that are probably the result of the unfinished state of some parts:
I managed to get to the Temple District only after the vampire encounter and thanks to Dirk's help, but the scene with him is *under construction* and the script due to activate after the conversation didn't fire, so I just left the bedroom and wander a bit, but I couldn't do anything else in the district. It is a very big area, with many temples... will there be any quests available there? Since there is a Temple of Kelenvor and there is mention of Death helping Willie through the vampire lord I thought it might be a possibility... Anom is hundreds of years old, so there might even be something involving Myrkul, the former God of the Dead, who was evil and might be the deity Anom worshipped... sorry for that, it is just a thought, it came to me as I was replaying the whole scene in the theatre to try different answers to see if Dirks script would eventually work...
But I couldn't get out of the Entertainment District in any other way... the transport guy would say he was not on duty and there was no exit anywhere to be seen.

I will try to start again or perhaps wait for the next update... but so far I think - as a certain character said in the mod - that it is showing a lot of potential!!!Keep up with the good work... I know I am not the only one who is anxious to see it finished!
I'll have that fixed for the next version. The intention was to be able to ride the Rickshaw back to the entertainment district. In the mean time... If you want to try it again, don't follow the theater plot line until you've been to the University at least once. This will ensure that the Rickshaw guy has been unlocked.
Alternatively, if you know how to use the debug console, you can try this:

DebugMode 1 <enter>
dm_setvarint rickshaw 1 <enter>
{click on your character}
That would unlock the Rickshaw Puller.
Thanks for the help wkbuilder, but the debug console didn't do the trick... I tried, but the message remains the same - off duty, come back later. As for leaving the theatre for later, after the University, well I can't get out of the entertainment district, there is no visible exit and the rickshaw is locked... the only way out that I found was going through the theatre's vampire sequence and then being rescued by Dirk and ending up in the Temple District... and then I couldn't get out of there either (no visible exits and locked rickshaw).
I tried the debug (open the console, typed the command, clicked the character, closed the console), nothing changed, I don't know why.
I think it may be best to start again or wait the next update...
That's OK. I think the problem might be the incompelteness of the conversations. The Pisces scene and "paying the rent" in particular have some breaks in them that I need to look at. I'll be working on those conversations next.
General question here...
I went and played through what is my copy of "Captain Dobbins Cabin" and it ended with me being asked some questions and then setting my tokens and then telling me to export my character.
I started this Alpha version and it asked me some general questions about the tokens and then asked about my night with Melanie (I think). Was there either another module that had me in that district and apartment before, or did you release another Captain Dobbins Cabin with the extra material?
If so, then I guess that is the version I want to play before the Alpha with a new character.

There is an epilogue of sorts that tells of how Willie got to Waterdeep.
It apparently was an older version that W&K mod that I had. I did go to the Wink and Kiss link and d/l'ed the newer version. And I did encounter that problem of not having the auto export (which I saw you did fix), but I did manage to save and then export it myself just before the final scene, so it was no big deal.

Was the first module ever updated not to stop abruptly after the apartment scenes? Because it's a bit complicated to import a character with Melanie's ring as it requires pretty good timing since the module finishes as soon as the last bit of text appears. I actually made it myself but it would be nice not to have to worry about that if I ever want to start a new character.
I haven't downloaded the first part in a good while though, so I don't know if it's me having an older version or if it's the same but the auto export part isn't working right.
OK, good catch. I must have changed my personal version, and never released it here. The current W&K one has been changed on here with today's date on it.

I tested it out here and it worked.
Let me know if there are any issues with it not working. The last line of conversation in part one should export your character for you.
My current character is already exported and trying out the alpha for the second part but I don't mind going through the first again at all.
This is a very good module, much better than the first one! Only one question, though - what is meant by passing the Docks Ward? My Willie gave a freebie to the docks administrator and there is a new message in the journal that Willie needs to go and see Kate gone, but she is still there without any dialogue option but "This is not over!" and fight. Is it simply not implemented yet or I need to do something else?

And BTW could you give any info on future updates - is it going to be a big one or just a scene or two? Also, will we have to restart the whole module, or there is a way to continue from a save?

Where does one go after the Don gives a task to rescue his son? He says to meet with the mask lady but I can't find her.
She should be in the Slums of Waterdeep area near the south west corner of the map. Just passed the homless men. Again if she did not appear there, you might need to reload. Deus666, do you have an older computer, or a slow processor? A side effect of that might be scripts not working right. I've tried playing the mod on an older laptop, and got similar kinds of problems on it because it wouldn't process commands fast enough.
No, no, no, I just didn't look there, spent all the time in the Slums sewers.
And in the first case I guess I somehow broke the script by talking to Kate. After I replayed the scene with the administrator and approached her everything went fine.
So the return of the Don's son to him is more or less the end of the main storyline or you are going to continue it? I'm really looking forward for future updates, all the fun new variants of soving quests are sometimes pretty obvious and look good. After the first module which was quite linear to my taste this one is amazingly good and pretty playable for an alpha.
BTW, I encountered a small bug: when Willie meets the half-orc girl before going into the mansion, during the cutscene when the interface switches off and the girls walk towards the guard, the whole screen kinda shivers.
Love your new mod had a lot of fun finding all the different scences.
Found one bug near the end of the content. when the mother is being taken away to give birth if you move your character at all the next scence will not trigger and you end up trapped in your cell with no way to continue.
That the only game breaking bug I found that has not been meantion. All the other bugs I encounter was from picking choises that was not implemented yet and having to restart the conversation.

After saving the Don son talk to the Don. He will tell you that your award will be brought to Melani apartment. Going to sleep in your bed in Melani apartment will trigger the next part of the story (you might want to keep a save before going to sleep if you wish to explore more because there no going back after this point in the current content)
I just noticed this question, sorry it took so long before I noticed it. Concerning after the birthing scene, you will have to wait about 45 seconds and another NPC enters your cell. Talk to them to continue the game.
Thank you for the reply. I actually had no problem getting to the end of the content after the birthing. It was before the birthing scene when the woman in the next room is being taken away. If you move your character while she is being taken away the birthing scene never triggers and you get stuck in cell. As long as I stayed still everything triggered correctly. At least that was my experience.
OK, I managed to duplicate that bug and know what you're saying. I'll put it on my bugs list.

Hi, I played the first one without any problems, but when i try to load the sequel i get the missing hak error. (the missing hak "wk2failedbards"), since i do not find it anywhere, i wanted to ask if you could post a link with this hak.

That .hak is included in the .rar that you dowloaded the module from on this very page. Cut and paste, or drag and drop the wk2failedbards.hak in your nwn hak folder. Be sure to read the wk2readme.txt file for instructions on how to install the module.

Ok so appearently my fixes for the journal has broken the journal. I'm aware of it and believe I know why. I'll fix it for next time.
Very nice so far. Besides the missing parts I found only one bug.
Fire walker: if you fail the discipline 19 check the following reflex check leads you back to the discipline 19 check.

Did find a bit of a glitch in the convo with the Professor Firmbottom(?) after they arrested creepy Dean.
After it was over, I initiated a conversation with her and got something really strange. She talked about some sort of trip down a tunnel with rotting bodies and such. And that some of the bodies were newer than others. And it gave me 2 options, nothing of which had to do with the Dean or the W&K mission. One was "Gross!" And the other said something like, "I like that smell..." Didn't update the journal entry either. Sounds like some conversation that was meant for some place else.
Other than that, am liking the new content thus far!

I just finished playing and what I can say is this is looking good so far. Wink and Kiss 2 has more potentials to be better than part I. Hope you continue to update the mod periodically, since there were a lot of dialogues that hasn't been implemented yet, like the one with Dirk or the gnome.
Btw, what is the surname of Dirk? Holyshield or Dragonsomething?
and the male pelvis looked white to me.
If I gave Dirk 2 names, then it is a mistake, and I'll look into that. I get that bug too with the pelvis discoloring sometimes. The best thing I've heard to fix it is to remove unused hakpacks from your haks folder while you play.
