Description | |
This is a free-form adventure in a world filled with epic encounters and mysterious secrets. All monsters and nearly all items are custom created. A complex monster respawn script ensures that your encounters will be dynamic and slightly different each time. When monsters die they will generally trigger something to spawn elsewhere in another camp or as a wandering patrol, allowing for constantly shifting monster populations. Based on the actions of the player spawns can become more difficult, increase in number, or dwindle to extinction. Death causes respawn at healer house or shrine. There are some side quests but no main story that must be followed. Regretfully this mod is unfinished but should still be plenty of fun for action-oriented players. |

Only problem was it being free form... no true plot.
Doesn't load properly, just stops at about 75% and have to Ctrl-Alt-Alt delete the thing with Task manager! Frustrating...
@Nails So I tried this myself. Downloads fine. Used 7zip. Checked that the archive was OK. Passed with flying colours. Put in modules and took a look at it in the toolset. Used build modules. Loads of missing things but nothing that would stop it from loading. So load module. No problem except it didn't have a description (my number one pet hate). Aborted that run. Returned here to check on the required class and level. Returned and restarted. Runs fine but so far its nothing great.
Conclusion, either your download got borked or you have things in your override (I keep mine empty), or you have patch haks, that are clashing with this module.

Tried it again and it loaded fine this time. Not sure what has changed between now and then! The looseness of these types of modules is not my favorite style, and having up to six transitions out of an area is confusing and doesn't allow me the completion that my OCD desires! Pretty good and it does take a while to work through all the areas. Some quests are endable and some aren't. Tarot, my Override folder IS pretty empty, with just 4 files!
Just pleased you got it to work in the end.
