Fennvale is a sleepy little mining town on the coast. Its citizens follow their daily routine with mind-numbing regularity. But not all is as it seems. This quaint little village has some not-so-little problems lurking just below the surface...
You arrive at the gates, a wanderer in search of adventure. As time goes on, you find yourself slowly but surely drawn into a complex tangle of events surrounding the Fenersk mine, Fennvale's only real source of income. It's up to you, brave adventurer, to solve the mystery and save the village.

================================
This module has been a long time in the making. But there's a reason for it. All of the content (as far as the Toolset allows) has been created by Yours Truly. I don't have a team working under me. I am the sole director, producer, scripter (both actual work and kifing), area creator...and so forth, including writing over 450,000 words of dialogue (461,323 words to be precise). I have a stack of hats ten feet high. And my tendency has been to script and test until I'm literally sick of it, then drop off for awhile, come back, repeat. Getting this beast up to speed has been achieved by exhaustive playtesting and priceless feedback from those who have played through it. Y'all rock, by the way...and I thank you.
Right now, I'd say it's about 85% where I want it to be. Could actually be more, but I dunno. Been a while since last playtest. I'm in that gap inbetween. I took a brief look to make sure the starting point is in the right spot - I tend to pop it around when I test - before I uploaded it. Thanks to everyone for the support, encouragement, prodding with sticks, etc.

Prods with a stick.
You were supposed to email me your newest version for testing :)
Note to myself: add as fighter/rogue to class list. Oh, and you look faboulus as always!
I got as far as I could in this module. I reached a point in the main (?) quest where I could no longer continue. During my playthrough, the mayor of Fennvale speaks a text bubble that reads something like, "...quest variable set to 30.", at a critical juncture in that quest line. After this, the dialogue just ends abruptly without granting my character the means to advance the plot.
That said, the overall quality of this module is fantastic. It must have taken a great deal of time to write all the dialogue and put together the plot. It is truly a great piece of work.
However, I feel, after having gotten stuck along the way, that I can't give it a proper rating until all the bugs that prevent progress are removed. I've noticed that the title of this project is "Final Beta". I hope that this is not the case. I would love to continue playing and finish this module if further updates are made. Thanks for the fun experience, and great job!
Try the following: "need to talk in a sequence Agatha>Allidor>Morgan>falstadd
Strange since I remember talking to agatha earlier, but talked to her, mentioned goblins and it worked."
Note that I had that variable at 10 for some reason at that point.
Zejan The Wonder Monkey is revising the module :)
Is this mod still in the works, or is it playable? Also is it multiplayer friendly?
Have I voted on that? Checking.
Yup.
Was that a response to my questions?
No it wasn't.
If you mean to play this one you either need to follow the right steps or wait for the makeover by Zejan.
EDIT: I don't know anything about multiplayer, but original old vaul page says it is Single: http://neverwintervault.org/rolovault/projects/nwn1/modules/5602/index.html
I'm sending you short walkthrough by Zejan.
Thanks for the walkthrough. So I'm safe to assume that this mod does not take itself too seriously then?
There are certain funny things :)
Though there are possible grim themes, but only if you do the wrong thing ;)
It would have been nice if the walkthrough was made public. :/
I don't know If I can post it :-/
I will email him.
