Description | |
Originally a Keep on the Borderlands, it morphed into a Diabloesque dungeon crawl. First level characters should be a fighter or cleric. Hiring a merc is helpful. Module uses Stone of Recall and you need rations and bedroll to rest. See the General Merchant The Magic Merchant gives you the best prices The first guy you meet swears like a sailor. After that its a disney film. Ignore the guy in the market. The plot never worked out. You only quest is clear the caves and get rich. Game is designed for respawning. |

No story, just hacking
Seven stars, meaning in my way that it plays, but not a great module. Lots of caves, some interconnected, filled with low level enemies that respawn continuously. I have never hated Orc Shamen as much as I do now!! They are everywhere, and in bunched of 6-12 at a time. Get a ranged weapon with endless ammo and go for it!
Skip this if you dislike large intricate areas with not much loot and not much to really do besides endless exploration. Not my bag.
