At last - an opportunity to avert the threat to the little town of Saltmarsh! The real enemies have been identified - evil, cruel creatures, massed in force and viciously organized. Can the brave adventurers thwart this evil and ensure the safety of Saltmarsh? This module is a pencil and paper conversion of the original module U3. |

Thought this one would be pretty easy like the first two modules but boy was I wrong. The Sahluagin fortress is massive and from what I've read the case is the same in the PnP version too. The last floor, albeit optional but useful if you clear it out, has 70 Sahluagin. They can be pulled separately of course but this part was absolutely mental.
It would've been pretty nice to have some henchmen for the second and third modules at least. If I wasn't a Cleric with a powerful summoning spell and the ability to use the staves found in the dungeon, I wouldn't have completed the game probably. I also don't know why Magic Weapon and Darkfire were removed as spells in the third module, they could've made life so much easier for me in battle and even bashing chests(seriously I probably spent like 30 minutes total in bashing chests in U1 and U2). Good job on the Riddle sidequest too, too bad I was stumped on the first one but oh well that's my fault. Stone of Recall would've been a very good addition too, the backtracking is gruesome.
Overall 8/10 nice finale to the saga. I would put it at 2nd place in regards to module quality with U1 taking the top spot. Big congratulations for making such a gigantic module too and painstakingly copying the stuff from the PnP.
Really good ending to the series, however I still cannot get the logic behind the first Oracle riddle . . I had to check the first riddle answer in the toolset, because I was really tired when I played, fortunately the next two I found relatively easy to solve (I have a strong mathematics background) This one felt more polished than the first and second, it was a series worth playing :D Thank you Oraweb
