Trouble at Pleasant Lake II V0.3 -An adventure for single characters level 6-8 or so, depending on equipment etc. - Requires NWN/SoU/HotU v1.66 + PRC No sooner than Pleasant Lake was cleaned up of a pesky undead problem than the town mayor gets word that an orc army is marching towards the peaceful hamet. The call goes out to those who might save Pleasant Lake from doom... This module takes place in and around the town of Pleasant Lake. The town offers a range of services, including two NPC's. Important points are noted on the map with map points throughout the module, and teleporters will get you out of harder to reach areas to avoid senseless backtracking. As in all my modules enemies drop all thier gear when they are defeated. Particularly noteworthy enemies are set up like individual NPC's, with a full array of skills and abilities, as well as a full stock of appropriate equipment. The module is "rest friendly" and does not strip items or force a starting level for the player. Rogues will find that thier pickpocket ability will come in handy on some occaisions, but is not necessary. The quests are generally set up towards good or nuetral players. The mod can get tough, so don't be shy about recruiting one of the NPC's. Not tested in multiplayer, but it should work fine. |

nope
Couldn't get it to load, said missing Tlk file. I don't see anything that I needed to install in addition to the module, and I did play the first part just fine...
Directly below where you clicked to download the module there is a short bit of text that says
Under that there is a link to the PRC. This contains the missing tlk file. That is what required means. in other words it won't run without it. It is not optional.

Got it, Tarot. Thanks once more! This played well and even had henchpersons available, albeit with the early minimal interface. Several quests that were unbroken, but not acknowledged. Not a bad effort, no real ending to this I think.
