A Sword in the Dark (vF102) Part of a company of adventurers set out on an important quest to recover a Sword of Tremendous Power from a Shrine deep within the Underdark. All that remains of that company now is You! The rest all slain by some of the nightmarish creatures that inhabit this subterranean wasteland. But you know you must press on maybe because of the untold wealth you will receive when you return home. Maybe because setting back on the road you came now is probably just as dangerous. But there is something else, something more Important that tells you, you must go on and recover A Sword in the Dark. This version is a the FINAL version of the module everything is 100% complete, it has been tested for bugs and inconsistencies and is ready to play. |

I played this today with a level 10 monk, mid magic items. It was pretty fun and not too challenging. Everything gave really high xp so I got to level 12 in no time. The opening and closing movies seemed very poor in contrast to the rest of the game, but they were a nice touch none the less.
A short module with cleverly done puzzles.
Good mod. Makes you fight your way in a drowish dungeon. Maybe a little bit easy but worth a try.
I fought my way with a barbarian and was disappointed in the end since I could not get that sword in the end of the game: the closing movie isn't followed by a proper character export so I had to reload a lucky save seconds before the ending in order to have my character equipped with the most important treasure.
Not bad, worth a play through. If you want to walk away with the (OP) treasure at the end, you do need to hit a quick save during dialog right before the ending.
