Description | |
Welcome to Halloween in Skullington Falls. This module offers numerous quests, from puzzles to treasure hunts, from message deliveries to escorting NPCs and requires no combat. Each new PC entering Skullington Falls will be stripped of all Experience Points and All Gear. A set of new armor will be equipped and you will be provided with a Trick or Treat Bag to store any goodies you wish. In the starting area, you must choose to play the module as one of three different creatures: a Ghost, a Skeleton, or a Vampire. Skullington Falls is a completely persistent module. This means that once you start the module you will not have to worry about losing your place. All quests are persistent(except the Trick or Treat one), your appearance is persistent, as is your journal. There is no need to save the game when exiting. Included in this .rar file are three files. The .hak should be placed in your Hak Folder. The .mod file goes in your modules folder. The .doc file is a 9 page M/S Word Document containing information and spoilers for this module. This module requires the Lost Valley Tileset Hak. Link You must have NWN/SOU/HOTU v1.69 + CEP2.3 in order to play this module. The small hak I included here makes this tileset compatible with the final patch and CEP2.3 |

2 issues:
- trick or treat: not every open door is reachable(NPCs standing in front), not all open doors grant treats, can't finish quest
- riddles can't be answered 2nd time, no matter how much time had passed (it says it should be 5 minutes). Not all answers are regarded as correct: SPOILER steps doesn't work, while footstep works..

Ah, mod strips.
This comment and rating of mine were unearthed from the old defunct IGN Vault page.
"I'm a bit early, I guess everyone else is still waiting to check this out on October 31. ;)
The awesome area design, witty dialogues and all the other creativity that went into this mod totally compensate for a few pixel-hunting and running-to-and-fro quests, making it fun to play for curious grown-ups, too. Hats off for creating such a great kid-friendly Halloween mod within a few weeks!"
